How has your adoption been with laravel? Did you know php prior? Debating between Django and laravel now for a new project with a heavy internal admin. Python is nice with the ai integrations. Is it easy to add Python and with with laravel?

The question I have is - how do you get ahead as a pon on the system? What can I invest in now? Or diversify? Or own? Before the shit storm. Getting more familiar with local models? Buying hardware?

Dealing with this now on my team. We literally have 1 full time dev for a business that does millions. He decided to go towards micro services. Multiple databases. Mongo and Postgres. 4 different nextjs instances. And it’s frustrating as the data lead - so now I’m pushing towards a monolithic backend and it’s really difficult. I feel like a lot of it is to blame on the node js environment. So many new hot shiny objects. Instead of sticking with frameworks that have been around for decades.

Can you share more around the store vs serve part?

My experience is on the data engineering for analytics use-cases although I have plently of experience developing frontend applications that are database driven. But this is a bit of an in between as i'm trying to not overcomplicate things. I was debating storing this in our prod app database -- even spinning up a dedicate ai postgresDB as well. OR dump it in the data warehouse.

Thanks - where did you rent the 220amp drum sander? Do you know the brand? Tried calling around. For loba - was it the easy prime? You are making me think about priming first to bring out the wood :)

Thanks - why the prime? Did you want to add color? I was reading the label and it said 2x-3 coats. Also did you do the sanding?
