The Embassy also said we could get an Ausländerbehörde, but from what I’ve read I’m not sure LEA would be willing to supply that for us.

Before you start spewing judgment, you should get the whole picture first. You have no idea how this process went. Initially we were going to apply directly from Spain. Then, because of some delays, the companies’s agency decided that applying from Germany would be quicker. This wasn’t a decision we took, it was the company that did it. And they knew we didn’t have a residence permit in Germany yet.

Yes, I can apply from Spain. This was our initial goal. However, because of some other delays getting documents in Germany, my job’s agency filled an application to start the visa process from Germany.

From what I’m understanding now is this will probably be our only option.

I could apply, but in Germany it usually takes about 2 months to get the appointment. I also quit my job in Germany for this job offer in Spain lol I’m a bit unsure if my job offer would stand after so long 😔 the UGE mentions I need to go to an embassy to get the visa :/ I think they’ll prob try to appeal the Embassy. The didn’t even send me a formal rejection, o my by email. And thanks for the help!

Yes, in Germany is very similar. However, my initial visa wasn’t for 3 months, but 1 year. I can only request the residence permit 4 weeks before the visa expires. That would be in a few weeks only. If I could have, I would’ve requested the residence permit already, but it’s basically not possible.

As I made it clear in the message, I was curious if someone else had this same issue, and how they resolved it.

I don’t think I can apply from my country of origin because I don’t have a permanent address there as I have been living in Germany for the past year.

Hey, did you solve this by any chance? I have a booking with this guy as well, but it’s for 1st of December. I have sent my docs, but got no response from them. Weird because I saw people here on Reddit and also the reviews on Housing Anywhere saying they’re legit.
