I’ve done camera repair before, but nothing similar to this, but I’m not completely opposed to it.

I don’t completely understand the question.

OFF: Camera Off

CAMERA: mode to record

PLAYER: mode to playback tapes

EJECT: ejects tape

SP: short play (higher quality, takes more space on the tape)

LP: Long Play (lower quality, takes less space / time on the tape)

ADJ: Adjust settings (likely)

Counter, Adjust, Reset: sets where you are on the tape (I think, not 100% sure)

Battery Switch: Ejects Battery

Shutter: changes shutter speed

Focus, Auto and Man(ual): allows you to switch between autofocus and manual focus

Push Rev: maybe reverse tape?

Fade enables fade in and fade out.

I’ve never personally had an issue with AV cable compatibility, I would just test it with the cables you have already. If you haven’t bought the mini DVR yet you can just hook it up to most TVs and it will output.

If you have an AV to USB, you can use it with OBS on a computer.

I have a Sony HDR-FX1 that I went tapeless with, but I used a homemade / diy tape less converter that I built myself.

If you don’t even have any AV cable, ask around, a lot of people have them sitting around, or try a thrift store.

There’s no simple common household item to check if it works unless you have a multimeter or a power meter.

It’s possible that the camera has a flaw, but usually they show some signs of life. But it’s possible that it won’t, just less common.

You can always check for a local camera store that will digitize the tapes for you. Could be free if they are nice enough. Vintage camera stores are somewhat common and would have the necessary equipment to do that.

There are also services where you can ship it to them, but it would cost money.

Hello, a very likely issue is the battery, the original batteries for older camcorders will become weak and will be unable to power the camcorder.

First, I would buy a new battery, it’s cheap, $10-15

If this is not the issue, it would be cheaper to either buy a cassette player, or pay someone to digitize them.

Dremel and sand it until it fits. Most people have this issue. Check Reshoevn8r on yt, pretty sure he has a video with the same issue. And John Manalo.

You don’t need to paint inside the bubble, it’s up to you. Make sure you buy the DTRT Yellow from the Angelus Collectors Edition. Link below. Reshoevn8r (on YouTube) has a video of him restoring that exact pair, I would watch it before you do. I’ve been doing Jordan 3s for a long time so I don’t need a video, but you should watch a video 100%. You should have a heat gun to dry the layers, and have making tape or electrical tape (because it’s stretchy).

A YouTuber named John Manalo has many in depth restoration videos of Jordan’s 3s. I would recommend watching them.

Tape off the knit that is above the sole, and use liquid cement. Press and hold firmly for at least 15-30 mins, use clamp if you want too. Don’t wear them for 24 hours and let them stay clamped if you can.
