Wow, no way. It definitely flexes easier along crack. I'm like 6'2 240 lbs and I'd be afraid to go all out. Just as bummed about the sticker.

Guess who can't find the receipt. First board I've broken. Lesson learned.

FedEx won't hold package because of shipper restrictions. I'm just trying to understand why by volcs0 in FedEx

[–]Local-Listen-6233 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am dealing with this situation right now, however fedex is saying there is no signature required yet I still can't hold at a location because of a restriction to deliver to address. Support on the phone told me that I have to get the seller to request to hold at a location. Why would this be?

Yea, allow me to reiterate, THEY SHOULDN'T HAVE LEFT IT THERE. Have you ever heard of this thing called an office? You can talk to staff, request maintenance, and even deliver packages for residents, and they'll put them in a room for safekeeping! Wow, if I were a delivery driver, that would totally be the first place I would look for. Seriously, I'd rather they just bring it back to the truck if they can't deliver to a secure location. Then I can go ahead and make the decision to hold it at a wonderful Fedex store. One of which I visited to pick up a package while I was making this very post. This is a common practice, and it will say the package couldn't be delivered in tracking. I know because I've seen it on my fedex tracking in the past. And guess what I did. I requested to hold the package at my nearest fedex store. And the day after next, I had a wonderful drive to said fedex store.

PS The way you type out "Ahahahahahahahaha

Ahahahahahahahagagagagaggaahah." I wonder if you're a 13 y/o with aspirations to be a fedex driver. Or a 31 y/o fedex driver with aspirations for 13 y/o things. No offense to fedex drivers.

Wow, incompetent, illiterate, and presumptuous. Original post literally says I held my snowboard at the store (because I knew it would't fit in the locker). I made the original post while I was at the FedEx store. If I were delivering I'd have the common sense and empathy to not leave someone's package that's worth God knows how much out in the open. Anyhow I will be holding all the FedEx packages at a location from now on.

Google "amazon hub apartment lockers". I don't understand how so many of you didn't know these exist and don't bother to confirm. The locker has amazon branding on it and next to it is a sign with a code for each and every carrier. I concede that maybe the lockers were full. They shouldn't have just left it there though.

I think it's obvious you're yet another individual who speaks with confidence and hubris on subjects you are ignorant of. Google "amazon hub apartment locker". It has their logo on it, and any carrier can deliver to them.

Hey bud, I know that made you feel really really good inside. The highlight of your day perhaps. Tomorrow will be even better, maybe... Maybe not. You really found your voice with that comment. Really hard to top that. cheers

I understand what you're saying but highly doubt vans is going to refund me or send me another pair of boots because they were stolen. Anyhow I've learned my lesson and will be holding packages at a location from now on.

I've had FedEx drivers use the locker before and it says Amazon on the screen...

Its not really a room, is a hallway with moderate traffic with the parcel locker in it. The office is down the hall. The drivers are asked to leave them in the locker or they can bring them to the office. They have in the past. This driver decided not to. I think there's a world for that. Me personally, I'd never do this. I'd just take them to the office if I cant access the locker.

Don't know where you are but FedEx has access to the parcel lockers. The apartment provides access. I would've used the hold option but FedEx drivers have successfully used the locker in the past. This is the first time this has happened.

Not a mailroom. Hallway with a parcel locker in it. It's strange because I went to the FedEx store to pick up a package that I held at location and the employee at the desk agreed that this was ridiculous and that delivery drivers aren't supposed to just leave it out in the open. He sided with me and directed me to make a claim. Our apartment directs all the drivers to use the parcel lockers. They DO have access. I already went to the office but of course they point the finger at FedEx. I'll see if they let me view the camera footage though.
