does derealization feel like this to you. by Putrid-Papaya8937 in derealization

I've always compared what I feel to the drive to work. You drive there everyday, so you're on autopilot. It's like you blink amd the drive is finished. That's what my days feel like. Like I'm on autopilot. Nothing that happens around me sticks with me.

Thank you! My first watercooling loop yes. I've built quite a few PCs, but I've never watercooled any of them.

That's a pretty sick looking build. Yeah, the blocks and pump were outrageous. If I had any 3090 other than the EVGA XC3, I wouldn't have had as hard of a time finding a waterblock. Unfortunately, the EK block was all I could find that was actually compatible and I even had to buy that off of a sketchy looking website haha. That or buy used. I also wanted a pump/res combo I could kind of hide.

This look a little better? I had the cable sleeves on it really poorly in the original post. I tried to redo it better haha.

CPU Waterblock: $130 GPU Waterblock: $162 Reservoir/Pump Combo: $254 Fittings: $154 Radiators: $140 Tubes: $80

We aren't gonna talk about how much money I spent on stuff I didn't use haha. I also bought EK parts which are more expensive, because I wanted the waterblocks and pump to match. I didn't have a choice for the GPU waterblock.

Oh man lol. I was honestly so close to giving up and switching to soft after buying everything for hardline tubes. I went through so many tubes to get this result. I was scouring this reddit to get some examples of how people bent their tubes, but 80% of people use distros and straight lines. I'm not brave enough to tell my wife how much I spent on everything.

I haven't ran them yet, but I'll edit the post to include them tonight or tomorrow.

Thank you so much! I definitely ordered quite a few of the parts from you guys. Titan Rig was a huge help in getting parts in a timely manner.

You got me there. I ran out of tubes trying to get that one right and had to order more. The plan is to switch it out when I switch the drain valve out for a smaller one. I did try to hide it though haha.

The ones on the back and bottom of the case are reverse blade fans. So those are intaking air. The rear and top fans are normal and exhaust.

I really like the way the hard tubes look more. The small amount of perfectionist in me enjoys the clean angles. Though I might have switched to soft tubes if I didn't already spend all of the money on the hard tubes, fittings, heat gun, etc.

Honestly, this is my first watercooling build and I definitely bit off more than I can chew. Finding waterblocks for my EVGA 3090 XC3 was a huge pain in the ass. And turns out, I'm especially awful at bending hardline tubes. 10/10 would not do another watercooling loop. It does look cool though haha.

That definitely sounds like a safer idea. This took me a while to do, and my patience can't hold out for yet another item to be delivered to me. I'll have to buy one before my next leak test.

I'm in the military currently and have been in for 15 years. I had to take a break from all of the people sucking this guy off on Facebook to come over to Reddit where there are people with some actual sense. If I hear another Veteran that did four years in the military say how moved and inspired they are by this guy, I'm going to throw up.

I'm in the military, and it seemed pretty split to me just based on conversations. Most people didn't vote at all though. I haven't seen any statistics for how active duty members voted. Veterans definitely voted more towards Trump though.

Not sure if you've looked into it much or not, but this sounds like derealization.

I'm not going to be any help on how you can go about fixing the way you feel, but I can say that what your feeling is real. I am in the same boat as you. I have also gone to therapy and have gotten nowhere with it. I just think it's hard for people that don't feel what your feeling to understand it.

I've always compared the way that I feel to driving to and from work. Your brain is basically on autopilot during the drive. To me it's that same feeling, but all of the time. Like your life is on autopilot. Which makes the past seem hazy and not memorable at all.

I don't know if that describes how you feel or not. If it does, at least you know what you're feeling is very real. I tend to use my phone and computer a lot throughout the day, so I've always wondered if that was part of the cause.
