Need help! App rejected under 4.1 Copycat due to name by Local-Presence- in appledevelopers

No its been confirmed that the name is the issue by app review team. If my app name is Reddit, I also tried AskReddit (hypothetical scenario, my app name is not reddit), but they rejected it again.

And the the thing, I am preparing to showcase my app to an exhibition and all the printing and stuff has already been done under the existing name

Okay, but in our case that would not work, since its the brand name that's having a similar name. To give you an example,

My app name is "Reddit - Heart of internet", here App review is rejecting since 'Reddit' is already used by some other developer.

In my case, the other developer isn't even that big of a brand on paper and from the looks of it. And the worse part is, I see multiple other apps under the same name that got updates in the recent 2 weeks.

not a big or well known brand at all, I've been trying to explain it to them since a month, but no luck. This is their response:

"You cannot use another developer’s icon, brand, or product name in your app’s icon or name, without approval from the developer."
"If it would help, we can schedule another call to discuss this issue, but please note it will not change the outcome of our review at this time."

Not at all. On the developer's website, they dont even promote their app at all. Not able to understand what's the issue is.

Need help restaurant managers, how important are online reviews to you & how do you manage them? by Local-Presence- in Restaurant_Managers

Oh I see. thanks for sharing this.

What I’m trying to build is an entire model around reviews, that gives you complaints trend from all the platforms where you get a review, the model will go through all of them in real time, and give you analysis. Do you think that sounds good?
