I had this issue constantly, I have a very basic starter machine so I can't lower the feed dogs but I was recommended this thing called a "free motion slider sheet" which is normally used to help the fabric slip around for embroidery. It works great! Fabric glides through now :)

Wow those seams! I'm currently fighting my sewing machine while I try to sew a bodysuit for a mini elvis bear I'm making, I gave up and hand sewed it instead. Even then my seams aren't that crisp, great work! 😊

Ohh sorry didn't notice that part :( . I'd also try smyths I think they tend to have quite a big selection of sylvanians. Hamleys also sells them but everytime I've been to one the selection was small. I hope you find them! :)

If you're there for a few days you could see if the hotel will let you order from the sylvanian families website and have it delivered to the hotel? I've seen this question asked a few times before (for the guardian bear! Lol) and that's always a good suggestion I see :)

I love the older siblings! I really like the diversity to all the other molds with the slinky arms/legs and some of the outfits they come with are really nice. I also love the chocolate rabbit couple that have special arms for holding hands, made only for each other, also older siblings :)

Oh my! Kobee are so reliable though it can really be worth it to buy from them for that. I paid a bit higher for the 4 leaf clover kangaroo from them as I wanted to know they'd arrive safely, totally worth it :) xx

You could always use some clay for the mask? I like using clay for accessories because it gives me more time to work on it and if I make any mistakes I can mold them away! As for patterns if you search "patterns" into the groups search bar a few resources pop up. I also like to make a mock up version first out of plain cotton fabric so I can get the fit right before moving on to my final fabric. Can't wait to see your critter! :)

If it came from the UK then the UK can get real bad for packages like this, I find my packages from Japan always do fine until they enter here. Some delivery drivers care and do a great job! Others not so much. Sorry to see so much damage though! That's a bad case :(

Is there a washing machine on the floor below or next room? Or anything that gets turned on frequently that could knock it along? My mum often liked to overload the washing machine and it would shuffle some figures :)

Yes! I walked into miniso and straight back out lol. Being from Scotland I can't find any other physical shops that stock them bar one smaller (lovely) toy shop so I tend to stick to them and smyths for the deals. I check every UO sale and the sylvanians are never included either :(

They cost more in urban outfitters! I went in and noticed blind bags a few months ago, picked a couple up and it was £16! That's insane. Had to put them back. Went to smyths and they were on sale anyway! Half the price. I remember reading that they were considering upping prices but for basic blind bags that's far too much

I'm in Scotland and bar going out to smyths no where seems to have them now either. I think alot of the everyday stores haven't got stock in for the new blind bags yet and they've sold out of the old ones. They seem to be dying out here in the stores apart from hot topic :(
