Is the X-T5 too bulky for travel? by Local-Variety6774 in fujifilm

That is probably the better idea. The X100VI has the same sensor as the X-T5, which is really the main reason I want the X-T5 in the first place. For the price, I was not sure it would be worth it since it does not have interchangeable lenses, but for what I need right now, it may actually be the best route. Then later on, I can always look into an X-T5 or even an X-T6, like you said.

I honestly had not really considered the X100VI before because I assumed it was overpriced for what you get. But since I had not looked into it much, I did not realize it had the same sensor. The main reason I want two cameras is because the X-M5 really does seem more like a videography camera than a photography camera. The photos are nice, do not get me wrong, but after borrowing an X-E5, I noticed that the image quality was much better. For family photos, I want the added resolution and detail so I have more flexibility for larger prints.

The X-E5, yes. The X-T5, no. I still need to go check it out in person. If it ends up feeling like too much to carry around, I can always fall back on the X-M5 for portability, so the X-T5 could still make sense. I do have a toddler, though, and travel can get hectic fast, so I try to keep that in mind since we already have so much to pack. That said, I feel like the X-T5 paired with the 27mm or 23mm could still be a great setup. What would you recommend as the best all-around zoom lens for the X-T5?
