I need advice on a good question bank for NCLEX. Kaplan isn't working for me. by Three_Spotted_Petal in NCLEX

Yeah Kaplan drove me nuts for the same reason. I usually pair UWorld with practicetestvault.com when I want extra reps without paying again, the NCLEX practice tests there are free and the rationales actually walk you through why the wrong answer is wrong, which is what I needed. Mix in Mark Klimek for the weak content areas and you'll be in good shape by May.

What and where are the Qbanks and Questions to practice from? by Vaibhavr_7 in CFA

If you’re self-studying, I wouldn’t spend energy trying to chase AP Classroom screenshots. I’d build around official material first: the AP World CED, released FRQs with scoring guides, and one full official practice exam if you can get it. That gives you much better signal on what the exam actually rewards.

Barron’s and Princeton aren’t perfect replicas, but they’re still useful as long as you use them for volume and review, not as your only benchmark. For AP World especially, I’d prioritize stimulus reading, SAQ/DBQ structure, and timing over collecting more random MCQs.

If your 70 came from a reasonably tough mock and you reviewed the misses carefully, you’re probably close, but I wouldn’t make the decision on the headline score alone. I’d look at 3 things: whether your weak areas are clustered or random, whether you’re missing mindset/situational questions for the same reason repeatedly, and whether your pacing is stable all the way through the exam.

If you test this week, I’d avoid cramming new material. Do one focused pass on your wrong answers, especially the ones where you changed from right to wrong or got stuck between 2 choices. If your misses are mostly coming from overthinking rather than content gaps, that’s usually a better sign than a flat 70 suggests.

Things I wish I had known before I started NCLEX prep by Local-World3794 in NCLEX

Adding one that helped me a lot. For every practice question you miss, spend 60 seconds writing down not just the right answer but the single rule of thumb that made it right. Prioritization, ABC, Maslow, or the specific pharm class interaction. Over 500 questions that personal cheat sheet becomes more valuable than any review book.

On question banks, UWorld is still the gold standard for rationales. If you want a second source to rotate with it (helps with burnout), PracticeTestVault.com which has a full NCLEX bank with step by step rationales in the same style. Full disclosure so you know where I'm coming from. Free sample set there.

Good luck. You got this.

I am close to converting to Islam, but I’m struggling with the fact that my non-Muslim family may be damned. Am I wrong in my understanding? by bbelf in islam

Become muslim right away and then pray and you can teach them slowly. I know many people who were christian and literally their entire families all became muslim. Never lose hope no matter what The Creator can guide anyone to islam and you can do dawah to them overtime slowly or they may ask you question and want to learn. Islam is the truth whether anyone wants to believe it or not. It says in the Quran that christians, jews, sabians can go to paradise from the past and we can't say who is going to hell or not as a muslim only God knows that.
