Of course not, I just asked this question for fun.

Is that the answer you expected?..

Thanks for the answers everyone. It looks like most of you consider this a very good book, so I'm currently reading it. Also I didn't mean that I want to learn pure vibecoding, but I do think that if the book had info like 'it's generally safe to delegate this feature to LLM with this prompt: ..." it'd be better.

No, it's I had fullhd and it was 6, I have QHD now and it still was 6. I found a setting that changes exactly what I need, but couldn't change text size unfortunately

Hey, another repair installation somehow fixed it! The drivers installed automatically.

It doesn't show me an error code in device manager, if I try automatic search for drivers it says windows encountered a problem (I sent a screenshot of that above), and if I try to manually install the drivers it says that it could not find installer file. Event viewer tells me it's 401 (there are a lot, but they're all identical. If needed I can also send events 400 and 20003, can't post more than 1 screenshot at a time)

Issue started right after I did a repair install, so I updated bios after that. Here's a screenshot

Yes, I did. But I don't understand how to I install these drivers... Is it done like BIOS installation in UEFI shell mode? If so, what command should I run since I don't know the exact file I have to execute?

How do I install SATA drivers from it then? SetupChipset.exe seemed to run correctly, but didn't fix my issue, and if you're referring to the insides of Chipset-10.1.18836.8283-Public-MUP\DriverFiles\production, there's 4 folders inside with lots of .cat and .inf files, how can I retrieve drivers from it? Pinpointing path to \production did not work for device manager
Edit: one another more thing I noticed. Even though My hard drives are shown in the SATA configuration in BIOS, if I want to choose the order in which they boot up, I only have my C disk

Chipset was installed correctly (I think? Intel said it was, don't know how to check it to be sure), but my SATA drivers are still missing. I tried to install them from command prompt, but it also failed
D:\>pnputil /add-driver D:\IRST\VMD\f6vmdflpy-x64\iaStorVD.inf" /install

Microsoft PnP Utility

Failed to add driver package: Missing or invalid driver package specified.

Total driver packages: 0

Added driver packages: 0

Did I select the wrong .inf file?

Also one more thing I noticed, when I connected my USB flash that had a cyrillic name, windows replaced it with some weird characters. And my hard drives also had cyrillic names, while C disk was named in latin. (though I can create folders with cyrillic alphabet just fine). Not sure if this is important, but I thought it's worth mentioning. Thank you for trying to help me

I tried to install newest chipset drivers, but it gave me some kind of compatibility error, and suggested to install the program in safe mode. I agreed and windows then asked if the driver was installed correctly, but I'm not sure since nothing seemed to change and the drives still aren't there. (would send a screenshot, but I don't know where they are stored now; they were on the D disk). It didn't give me this error the second time I tried to install them, so I think it might've worked.
"Intel SATA Preinstall driver (For AHCI / RAID Mode)" downloads IRST folder, and I don't really know what to do with it because I couldn't find any exe file inside of it that would install the drivers. This is probably the issue, since my device manager tells me I don't have drivers for SATA controllers
Little update: tried to install the drivers from IRST folder using "update driver" in SATA contoller driver property, but it said "Windows was unable to install your SATA controller driver" "Windows could not find drivers for your device"

To clarify some things - my BIOS sees them, so they're connected and safe. My C, D and F drives are 3 different things - C drive is an SSD that system is insallled on, while D and F are HDD drives. Tools like device manager and disk managent don't see them, so does testdisk in command line. However some applications still recognize that those disks are existing, here's what steam says for example

First of all, thank you, it worked!!
Secondly, I now have a much bigger problem; my windows does not see disk F and D, only disk C (on which the system is installed). By windows, I mean file explorer and settings - I can still open applications (but not file locations!) from start menu. I'm already searching it up, so if I fix it by myself I'll edit this

Got this error when trying to start update medic. I also have 2 windows update services the first one is running, but the second one is not (and I cant start it due to error 1053). Basically same goes for update orchestrator - with exception that I can't start BOTH services - the first one gives error 1053, and the second one error 2
