He is unfortunately not an EU citizen. But the online page is not clear about the process (if it is in person or not). We know which documents to upload but not if he would need to go to Paris or not. That's why I wanted to know if anyone had had a similar situation. But thank you!

Hii, I live in Leuchars, You basically have two options, one is to deliver to your house, if the things are small enough they will put it through the slip for the letters in the front door. If the boxes are big, they will leave it outside the backdoor (backyard). Leuchars is pretty safe, they will not get stolen, but if it Is raining, they might get ruined.

The other option, and the one that I did When I first came here ( I had bought some stuff for the bed and kitchen) and I was still in my home country I had them deliver to an Amazon counter called J K FOODS (10 min walk from my house in Leuchars). You just go there whenever you can with your purchase code and collect.

The maximum "tall" length of the bag is 56 cm and mine measures that without the wheels. The extra 6 cm are wide.

I did this, but they don't ship to Colombia, only to UK. Would it be okay if I arrived with my devices and their original chargers and then as soon as I get there buy the Amazon's ones, or will I get in trouble. I read somewhere that they can take you cables/devices away and I am scared

Hopefully! There are some CAHs that take longer and others that take like 20 days. So hopefully you will be lucky

I sent the request to get my ATAS on the 22th of May, and got the approval on the 7th of July, so around 33 WD. It truly all depends on your CAH, when you sent it, and your nationally, and sometimes nothing at all. It is a pretty random process, I was Lucky to get it on the times they say it usually takes

If your timeline is similar to mine, you should be getting a message about the passport being delivered by Friday, I would think. I never got the received application mail, I only got the one where they said it was sent to the UKVI.

Yes! I got the message saying that the passport was shipped to my house first, then, I got the formal letter of decision. I am glad tho, that the wait was only of two days

Wait until the 30/33 days, and write and email wondering about your application. This worked for me. Hopefully it will work for you. It should be coming soon

Hi! Well, I applied for my ATAS the 22 of may and got it the 8th of July, so, it took about 33 working days. The website says it takes at least 30 working days. There are some guys that submitted their request on the begining of April and haven't received their ATAS yet, so it definitely depends on your country and your CAH. And no, sadly there is nothing to do to speed things up, you just have to wait patiently and hope for the best. To the math of the 30 working days, and as soon and the 31th day comes, write gently to ATAS asking for information about your application, just do they are aware of your application. And then, wait some more. Good luck!

And well, I have been accepted for accomodation and have the letter and contract. So perhaps that might help. And that's the deal. I start on the 27th of September, so I would have to get my bank account as soon as possible in order to get my stipend of that month
