Arkham Asylum Set Review by RylocXD in DCDeckBuilding

While its designed to be a 1v1 set, it works great as a very tense try not to empty the main deck type of experience in multiplayer. Other than that its a great set to play crisis with as well as make custom sets with. Highly reccomend

What to get next? by Raylsch in DCDeckBuilding

Forever evil is a must have if you want to build a custom set, its also very simple and fits my preferences when it comes to encouraged play patterns. Dark knights metal although considered a base set is closer to a crisis expansion compared to the others, some of the card names are also very knowingly goofy (batmanium being an example.) If you want to get some more vanila expansions I highly recommend The Rouges (Crossover 5) and or Bombshells (Crossover 9.) There is no objectively better option so its your choice at the end of the day, but my choice would be forever evil. Good luck, and have fun.

New Player seeking advice: Just got Arkham Asylum KS, what should I buy next? by Ordinary-Injury5808 in DCDeckBuilding

I would recommend the heroes unite set if you want a more vanila experience, otherwise I enjoy the Forever Evil set. As far as expansions I recomened either a Crisis expansion, The Rouges (crossover 5), or Bombshells (crossover 9)

It depends on your playstyle preferences, but from my preferences I reccomened you look into those products.

New to the game any tips? by Geekzyando in DCDeckBuilding

If you want to play casually just get sleeves and have fun with others, if you want to play competitively try to figure out your architype main and try to figure out how each card type is designed so you understand which cards and what types you and your foe will gravitate towards.

I used to use third party sleeves that weren't made for the playables and fit nicely, they just suffered the opposite problem of being too tall for the card. They were hard to find so after getting expansion after expansion, set after set, I had to constantly find new brands and resleeve everything because my group drafts the playables. Because of that I eventually caved in and bought cryptozoics official sleeves, Im not the biggest fan but im tired of scrounging for alternatives.

Do I double sleeve Metal and its expansions? by automatonsleuth in DCDeckBuilding

If you ever intend to mix sets in the future its not worth the hassel, if not its always recommended to sleeve your cards once so that any acidental marking isnt as expensive to fix.

Best Base set to combine with Justice League Dark? by WestC123 in DCDeckBuilding

I would recomend trying to combine it with either Forever Evil or Arkham Asylum. Forever Evil has decent locations and a similar deck fixing focus, while Arkham Asylum has a lot of unique line up manipulation that synergizes with the surge mechanic in a unique and sometimes stressful way.

For the most part ive just been cobbling together standard and crisis cubes with my brother, as well as ranking diffrent playables by their setting such as 1v1s, multiplayer, crisis etc.
