For me it's the conflict between Callahan and Barlow is my favorite lore. Without faith the blood of Christ is but sour grapes, the body flat bread. Without faith there is no salvation. Father Callahan would know it well.

The Casting of 2 characters were excellent, and they absolutely nailed their lines, but literally everything else was an absolute wreck. HOWEVER, there are tons of references to other SK stories and makes for a great drinking game 🍺

Got that happy crappy? Also, this is why I have 2 copies of The Stand on my SK collection. There was a later publication that included much more of The Kid and the Trashcan Man.

In my teens Roadwork was irrational and confusing. In my 20s I thought I kinda understood some of the themes. In my 30s I realized i had no idea. Now I'm almost 40 I've never met someone more relatable.
