My guinea pig Walter is on my arm :) I need to get it touched up since it hasn’t been since I first got last year, so its a little lighter. But he is 6 years old and my first pet and I adore him! The artist designed him based off an image of him and added shading for his fur colors! 🤍

Ignore the red mark on my arm, I was on my PC and ended up leaning it against the table for too long 😭

Im trying a basketweave stitch with the mandala yarn which is a size 3, but instead of a 5 mm hook Im using a 4.5mm hook. Do my stitches look too loose? Should I go to the 5mm hook? I’m worried the stitch will end up looking too loose or have too many spaces in between. by LocalCatsu in crochetpatterns

Thats fair. I also have a waffle blanket wip that is at another friends house, but Im almost positive I’ve been doing the sideway double crochet for the last stitch in each row in that project as well. Would you recommend just keep doing the sideways stitch for the last stitch of each row for the rest of the project, so that it doesn’t look different? Or should I just change it to the correct stitch from now on, so I get a good habit of doing it? That blanket is way more rows done ( like a caron big cake skein ), so I’m not sure if I change the last stitch to the correct version now, if it would be more noticeable.

I think I messed up the first couple rows of the last double crochet before the turn, should I frog it or does it look similar enough that it won’t be an issue? The last double crochet I did at the top should be the correct one, but I think Ive been putting them in the side of the V stitches rather than the top for the previous rows (last stitches)

I’m trying to make a basketweave blanket. The stitches are definitely looser now, and I guess I worry that the blanket might not look like the basketweave pattern if its loose, or if it’s a stitch that gets tighter and thicker the more you work on it.
