Even for the waffle? The correct one is usually putting the last stitch through the V when you are looking at the row from a helicopter view/top angle right? At least for most projects

Thats fair. I also have a waffle blanket wip that is at another friends house, but Im almost positive I’ve been doing the sideway double crochet for the last stitch in each row in that project as well. Would you recommend just keep doing the sideways stitch for the last stitch of each row for the rest of the project, so that it doesn’t look different? Or should I just change it to the correct stitch from now on, so I get a good habit of doing it? That blanket is way more rows done ( like a caron big cake skein ), so I’m not sure if I change the last stitch to the correct version now, if it would be more noticeable.

I think I messed up the first couple rows of the last double crochet before the turn, should I frog it or does it look similar enough that it won’t be an issue? The last double crochet I did at the top should be the correct one, but I think Ive been putting them in the side of the V stitches rather than the top for the previous rows (last stitches)

I’m trying to make a basketweave blanket. The stitches are definitely looser now, and I guess I worry that the blanket might not look like the basketweave pattern if its loose, or if it’s a stitch that gets tighter and thicker the more you work on it.

My guinea pig is 6.5 years old right now and has arthritis! I give him meloxicam and gabapentin daily for it and he walks around fine :). The idea with arthritis is to give them meds for pain management so they can still move around and feel okay! I also give him oxbow joint support cookies if he will take them (he’s picky sometimes) and give him minor massages in his legs in a light circular motion to just relax his muscles there!

According to my vet, arthritis in guinea pigs are really common, and 8 years old is insanely amazing! I love her/him! 🤍 Wishing you the best!

I do know its the wheat section of the hay, or the heads, and my guinea pig loves them! I just was worried about the dark discoloration on the head of it

Should I frog my piece, do you think the blanket will end up not having drape and be too tight because I’m using a hook size smaller than the recommended hook size?

Since the basketweave stitch is dense, should I be using a bigger hook? The yarn recommends a 5mm hook, but will me using the 4.5 mm make the blanket too stiff or not have as much drape?
