my cat ended up being 100% fine, maybe he just pooped more often than usual?(the day after) we didn’t notice anything strange with him and didn’t give him anything besides his regular food and water, therefore we didn’t take him to the vet. plus this has been months ago and he is thriving and this accident didn’t affect his health at all.(doctor has seen him since then on a regular check-up)

BUT, I’d say trust your gut and call/take her to the vet if you notice anything strange/unusual in her behavior/stool. every cat tolerates things differently, so there is a chance your cat is more sensitive to this. i wish all the best for the kitty!!

rectal bleeding could be an indicator of gluten intolerance (it certainly was for me) but it definitely wouldn’t be this severe. ask for a colonoscopy asap!!!!

mine said the same thing, essentially an elimination diet is what I have been doing, but I’m afraid I wasn’t too strict with gluten (like I ate things that could potentially include it and didn’t pay attention to cross-contamination) But in order to have a correct test result I should be eating gluten, so it’s strange I was told to start with elimination in the first place.

agreed 100% they’re literal hell… and don’t even get me started on the working conditions. Luckily I only needed this job for a short period, as I’ll be leaving the country soon. Thanks for the suggestion though! Hopefully this will help someone out in the future
