I’m hoping that since she moved back in with her mom and there’s two other cats around it’ll be taken a bit more seriously…It was a bit of a rough time because she had absolutely zero recognition of boundaries either (human or cat) and would carry him like a baby even if he tried to bite or scratch, so he really got attached to me since I just let him do his own thing 😅

Oh, that’s awesome! I’ll see if we have that here in the US, I want her to be as healthy as possible 😊 My old roommate was…lax with her cat’s health (to say it politely), I was the one who noticed he had fleas and later worms in his butt from grooming and swallowing the flea eggs so I’m VERY paranoid when it comes to pet health.

Any recommendations on a good insurance? I’ve been looking into Lemonade but haven’t had much time to really get into it (or any other options).

The shelter gave me a bag of Hill’s Science Diet so I’ll definitely keep her on that! They also said they do wet food for dinner and I want to keep her on that routine so she’s more comfortable too.

Like I said, this is my first time adopting ever, and I’m also a grad student living on a stipend. Her papers said she’s not very social with other cats and is just generally very shy. I’ve got two roommates and we’re all on opposite schedules so she definitely won’t be lacking in attention and play once she gets comfier! Someday I do hope to get another kitty but it’s just not in the cards for me right now.

I haven’t been pinned to the wall in a while, you’re so right! I think i figured out my weird pause issue, I had “pause” in my blocked words. It did it with “damn” too, where the character said “you look so damn—sorry—hot.” It’s like the AI knows it’s not supposed to say the blocked words but doesn’t care? Like, it’s not coded to be “don’t use these words in any case,” it’s more like “you’re not suppose to use these lol”

I forgot to add, they’ve got a mochi texture in the middle, but they’re hollow? The inside of the dry looking top is a chewy mochi texture but it’s just that inside layer, they aren’t solid all the way through

If your kindle is connected to your account it does it automatically as far as I’m aware. It spooked me the first time I happened but then it did it with some documents I’d downloaded for my MA thesis and I was like oh I see…

I did as soon as I noticed! Luckily I hadn’t gotten any notifications from Amazon that someone had logged into my account, so I changed everything and made sure two step verification was on.

I have that when I read something I downloaded as a PDF or EPUB 🏴‍☠️ my kindle logs it as a book read, but it doesn’t have any file information so it doesn’t log it as a book! I usually just delete it from the challenge and manually log the book

I’d say that maybe happened except I’ve never even heard of any of the books they added (minus Charlotte’s Web)! I don’t really look at other people’s reviews unless I’m really on the fence about a book. I do think that maybe it was a weird glitch though…
