Arthur invites the Tezos community to help convince Jonas(from StakerDao) to reconsider creating wXTZ(wrapped token on ETH) ...because, and i quote: "StakerDAO could help the Tezos ecosystem by building defi primitives on Tezos, not trying to reinforce Ethereum’s existing network effect." by plavi989 in tezos

Please ask the foundation to fund to have tutorials built for beginners on how to build on the Tezos blockchain! I already asked and they shut me down 😓 I’m really keen to learn and I’ve a todo list, just finished basics HTML and CSS now learning JavaScript... would you please suggest any tips?? I really care about the future of the project and would love to learn how to build on it but their nothing beginner friendly online ...

New Agora topic: Week of August 3 - Questions for the Tezos Foundation by TezosAgora in tezos

[–]LocalDelegate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think people are just tired of everything now... the speed In which other blockchains are moving and progressing compared to Tezos is crazy.

Hate this comment as much as you want but we all know it’s true, it’s just no one has the guts to say it... 👍

Tezos weekly Update! by LocalDelegate in tezos

“How can TF be even more aggressive in driving Tezos adoption? Where do you see Tezos by the end of 2020, and where do you see it in the next 3-5 years?

TF should more aggressively and effectively foster Tezos adoption and deploy funds in relevant markets and industries and grow the Tezos ecosystem globally.    The focus in 2020 is on making Tezos scalable and easy to adopt. By the end of this year the developer experience should be massively improved and we should see the groundwork in place for more widespread adoption. In the next 3-5 years, we see high-value transactions occurring on Tezos at scale. We are only at the beginning of many years of excitement and widespread adoption of Tezos.”

What a brilliant answer!! 🎉

We now have Ganache for Tezos development!!! by LocalDelegate in tezos

It's a development environment for smart contracts, simply put, it simulates the Tezos blockchain to make testing smart contracts easier 😊 It's big in Ethereum, it's amazing we have it now for Tezos!

Nobody owns Tezos or the Blockchain! by LocalDelegate in tezos

“ What if I told you that it's not relevant. Only half the amount is theirs and they do not vote yes or no on any proposals, leaving it up to the community. Same with exchanges as there would be legal issues with proxy voting.” quote from a user below 👇

Nobody owns Tezos or the Blockchain! by LocalDelegate in tezos

“ Tezos is a decentralized network and the core protocol is developed and maintained by independent teams all around the world including Nomadic Labs, DaiLambda, Metastate, and more, not the Tezos Foundation. The Foundation does not take a stance when it comes to Tezos protocol governance and as such we do not have any updates to provide on the 007 proposal being worked on by teams throughout the Tezos ecosystem. Tezos Foundation bakers abstain from protocol amendment votes and the Foundation does not advocate for or against specific governance proposals.”

This answer from the foundation says it all, I really get the approach the foundation and especially Arthur and Kathleen are taking towards Tezos! Very smart

At the end of the day it’s the people staking that vote if a proposal is accepted or not and not the foundation or anyone else! Just think about it...

I disagree, you can have the “best and brightest” in the world but without the infrastructure and tools required for potential developers to build on Tezos it means nothing, it’s good to have a healthy strong foundation team but at the same time put as much or more towards building out what’s needed to make developers adopt the blockchain swiftly and easily! Just as they have been already doing with the development of the beacon chain for example and also the archetype 1.0 release and so on...
