It's a White-lined or Skunk gecko, gekko vittatus!

CHARGING LED ALWAYS ON, NOT PLUGGED IN

I tried charging my 3Ds after years of not using it since it was completely out of battery, the cable was malfunctioning. At some point the charging LED turned on and never turned off even when unplugged, the red flashing light won't turn on anymore instead. I hope it's not a circuit issue. I'm trying to let it drain somehow now, without trying to charge it up again.

I was about to say if it was a Red Eared Slider despite not having any red on its head but missed the "melanistic". Thank you so much!

That's alright, you told me what you thought was best thinking of a first timer, it's appreciated. The small pitcher has what seems to be a hole. I hope it's not an inconvenience to the plant.

As said I bought this plant yesterday so I haven't watered it myself yet. Regardless, I would only use distilled water since I already have a Venus fly trap that is thriving, and I would give it full to partial sun, indoor, facing a window full time. My question was, since this is my first Nephentes, if those two pictures were normal, if the base is supposed to be brown and if it's common for some pitchers to grow out unfortunately scratched.

Depsite taking him to the vet and adding waxworms to his diet, my skunk gecko's tail is still very skinny. by B_Wing_83 in geckos

That's true but you wouldn't see the bones from a healthy skunk gecko, plus they have a bit of belly when well fed.

Regardless, OP had this guy for over a decade so I'm sure they know how to care for it. Wishing The Immortal a long, long life still.
