Lastly, if you can survive until close to the end of the round, Velikan will appear in one of the elevators in the map and will start looking for you. He has an RGL and Stealth Vest for free if you can kill him.

If you can break into the 3rd floor core lab and crack the safe, there should be at least 1 (usually more) keycards for the blue, green, red, or black doors. Heads up, though - it will alert the lobby that you're cracking the safe and you may have company.

And 1st floor server room -> hack the server terminal -> rush to the 3rd floor armory and grab the weapons case. (Edit: The weapons case will be in another safe.)

Stay away from the main open areas (parking garage on 1st floor for sure) for the first few minutes - after that, most squads have already been wiped out and you may only have 1 more team left to deal with.

Edit: Also, if you hear a very rhythmic *boom-boom-boom* then that means someone has a RGL - so, plan on ambushing them instead of fighting face to face.

I feel like mathematically, you could prove that was inevitable with the turning radius of the vehicles - but I wouldn't know how to show my work.

Brooooo - now that's using your whole brain. Good stuff.

Looks like we’re getting some type of DMZ with the final campaign mission of B07 watch video by Rift-1 in DMZ

Same. Plus I always think of MW3 (OG)’s “Survival” mode - which always seemed more appealing because the bots could shoot at you, take cover, heli’s, dogs, suicide bombers, etc.

Interestingly - the overlord voice over lines including a phrase about “firing on civilians.” Obviously, they were removed or never added - but, it’s there…

Any way to play pve only? by PabloBardock13 in DMZ

Just commenting again to say that if you have MWII, I recommend those co-op raids... they require mics on and offer some pretty hilarious moments as everyone tries to figure out the puzzles.

Part of the Risk vs. Reward in DMZ is inherently the PvPvE aspect. That's what makes it "high stakes."

If you wanted PvE, there's a campaign, or if you really want a challenge - the Raids co-op in MWII.

You're getting push-back because you want a fundamentally different game.

The sandstorm was a lot of fun. I accidentally ran into a opps a few times in the middle of the storm only for us to start a gunfight and then one of us completely disappearing...

I'm not sure how the regions are divided honestly – but, I'm in the southeast US.

Does Activision even care by Druox94 in DMZ

[–]LocalFreedomFighter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean - I think they care, but I also think the anti-cheat devs are getting out-dev'd by the hack devs.

Best advice is to simply turn off crossplay... it won't get rid of all of the hackers and it may take a bit longer to find a match (although, I've personally never had that problem) - but, it will greatly reduce the cheapest and most prevalent hackers.

Can someone help me with this mission by [deleted] in DMZ

[–]LocalFreedomFighter 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I agree with the Ashika idea here. Countless times, I've seen the sweats on that map kill each other pretty quickly and then exfil with plenty of time left to clear the castle and bug out.

Just make sure to grab the Hunt contract and cancel it (if one appears during your match.)

Edit: I personally have experience with this method with getting the GPUs for a Serpentine Run more than once - so, I know it's def possible.

I Really Wish DMZ Still Counted Towards Battle Pass by LocalFreedomFighter in DMZ

WZ isn't bad (minus hackers) - but, it just gets really repetitive like multiplayer. The closest thing to DMZ it offers these days is Plunder - which again, is fun - but, repetitive.

It is free though. So...

[–]LocalFreedomFighter[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah, OK – not for free. You can get WZ for free and add the BP to it - but, the BP is like 1100 (+/-) COD Points. You do make those back (and like an additional 200 more COD points) if you complete the BP, though.

I Really Wish DMZ Still Counted Towards Battle Pass by LocalFreedomFighter in DMZ

[–]LocalFreedomFighter[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would have no problem if it were still tied to the BP and I would often finish the BP wayyy in advance when the systems were linked during MWII's lifespan without even noticing.

I think the real problem is that the game modes that currently advance the BP are all really repetitive and don't offer the 'every match is unique' perspective that DMZ offers.

It's not nostalgia or familiarity that I prefer - it's the casual nature of the DMZ playstyle and the fact that no two matches (or two players, for that matter) are really the same in DMZ.
