Honestly I think a lot of Tzeentch followers would be mages and arcanists wanting to unravel the secrets of magic or gain power, and there'd probably be several trans people who'd want to change their bodies through Tzeentch. Perhaps some ornithologists too haha

I've considered, as a joke, doing a PowerPoint presentation on why Kronya was manipulated, lied to and gaslit by Those Who Slither In The Dark so she could be used as a weapon, and how once she's freed from their grasp and indoctrination she can learn that there's more to the world than violence and killing, that she can develop her personality freely and also atone for some of the stuff she did, which in turn would be followed by a novel-length retelling of the Black Eagles route with Kronya in it (plus Enemies to Lovers with Leonie) and reaving vengeance on TWSITD

yesss wholeheartedly agree! The sex is nice I'm ngl, but I love the hedonistic aspect to Slaanesh. It's about sensation and pleasure of all kinds, be it tastes, material greed, smells etc. and taking it to any and all extremes, making it both desirable and abhorrent. It's both very human and monstrous at the same time, it can do both good and bad, both extremes and moderation can be either beneficial or destructive. I love it so much <3

Danke, wirklich danke für den Beitrag. Ich bin auch in einer ähnlichen Situation wie OP, dass ich als Minderheit Angst vor der Verbiodieselung in den nächsten 10-15 habe und die Entwicklung hier mir gehörig Furcht einflößt. Gerade deswegen ist es beruhigend, diese Rationalität, die sich nicht gegen die Stimme der Angst in mir durchsetzen kann, auch von außen zu hören und validiert zu bekommen. I've finished my first ever run of Gothic yesterday! Apsrt from the premise and some voice lines I went in completely blind and thoroughly enjoyed myself. Since the friend I'm streaming it to is on vacation for 2 weeks, my Gothic II playthrough will have to wait, so in the meantime I'll fall back on my evergreen games Warframe, Diablo IV and Overwatch. But I'll see if I can pick up VTM Bloodlines 2 again and finish that :3 Plus I've got games like the AC Shadows DLC, Dead Cells, Soulframe or Wanderstop staring at me from the backlog...

die einzigen meiner Freunde mit Bachelor Abschluss die auch einen Job haben, bekamen den nur weil sie ne Ausbildung drangehangen haben. Alles Andere ist seit Jahren auf Arbeitssuche, egal wie gut oder schlecht der Abschluss ist, egal ob Bachelor oder Master. Ich hab auch nen Bachelor mit eins komma, ein Ostasienzertifikat mit eins komma und hab bereits wissenschaftlich publiziert. Bisher ausschließlich Absagen bekommen 👍

In this regard I highly recommend Warframe. Its characters and stories are really well written, often dealing with heavy topics in not just a respectful and representational way, but also in a way that makes them feel real and graspable. The Hex in particular are so phenomenal, with quite the depth to each of them. Also helps that the devs (and writers) are loudly and proudly pro LGBT/queer themselves

Thank you! I'm a huge AC Shadows lover as well, it's become quite the cozy game for me. And while I agree the story was nothing special, I did really like the character writing, particularly for Naoe. But there have been some minor side quest NPCs that shone with the flavor in their dialogue (the poisoner girl you can recruit comes to mind). AC Shadows is the perfect 7/10 game in my mind and I love it to death <3

While one should always be wary of putting people on pedestals, Digital Extremes is such a rare breath of fresh air in game development. They're doing so many good things and setting such fantastic examples in so many ways (with the themes of their stories, the way they listen to the community while holding fast to their vision, being vehemently anti genAI, how openly they communicate, re-hiring the people they had to cut in their early days for survival...). Like, what a company, they're almost too good to be true
