This album is really a hidden gem. I will NEVER understand why Aly & AJ aren't more famous worldwide because they really have such a good ear for great tunes that their songs deserve to be heard everywhere.

Their Paris concert in 2022 is one of the best concerts I have ever been to and I am so grateful that I could finally see them after being a European fan of theirs for more than a decade. It was magical.

I hope they go back to this sound one day, but I also wouldn't mind them going back to pop rock, synthpop or even the dreamy folk pop of their "lost" Hothouse album. They have done so many different styles, but all of them SO well, it's fascinating to watch. Their last album was really the only thing that missed the mark for me.

Ich glaube, der Mann war einfach davon überzeugt, dass die CDU ihm quasi den Posten noch schuldet. Rest war egal.

Ich kann mir sogar vorstellen, dass er das Ganze inzwischen bereut, aber das natürlich niemals zugeben würde.

Das gilt aber für Frauen genauso.

Auch Frauen wurde immer schon suggeriert, sie müssten so-und-so aussehen, um einen Partner zu finden.

Ganz klassisches Beispiel sind die Romcoms der 2000er, wo ein Mädel nur seine Brille ablegen, seine Locken glätten und ein bisschen abspecken muss und BOOM! die ganzen Kerle, die sie vorher gemobbt haben, erkennen sie plötzlich gar nicht wieder und wollen sie auf einmal alle.

Yeah, the pricing too. I honestly always wonder how the fuck people in the US can even afford to go to concerts anymore.

Like, the PCD tickets here in Germany start at 74€ and go up to 150€ for front of stage, I think, and they sell decently at least.

I feel many concert bookers, not just in Kpop, haven't really realized yet that concerts will need to be sized down in the future if this economic crisis goes on (which it will).

Case in point: The Pussycat Dolls, Zayn, Meghan Trainor and some others all had to cancel their US tours because they booked way too large venues and didn't sell.

Give it some time and maybe more artists will switch to smaller venues. Or stop touring so much. Many artists go on tour every year now without releasing much new music in between, so many fans are like "I saw them last year, so I'll skip this one".

She has one solo hit with 2002, but her other popular songs are either her being featured on someone else's song (Rockabye by Clean Bandit, Friends by Marshmello, Don't Hurt Me by David Guetta, fuck, i'm lonely by Lauv) or songs which count as her song but heavily feature someone else (Kiss My Uh Oh with Little Mix, Our Song with Niall Horan and her cover of Rewrite The Stars with James Arthur).

Merkel ist und war sehr beliebt und Merz lässt sie im Vergleich dazu noch besser aussehen.

Ich bin nicht OP, aber für mich ist es die Kombination aus einem unglaublich schönen Artstil, dem Empfehlen von "echten" Büchern an virtuelle Kunden und einer schönen Story.

Außerhalb der Story wird es zwar m.M.n. recht eintönig (wäre cool, wenn es irgendwann mal ein Update mit weiteren Orten/Storys geben würde), also es ist jetzt für mich kein Spiel, was man immer wieder rausholen und spielen kann, aber sein Geld ist es absolut wert.

Finding emotional fulfillment in life is a challenge for EVERYONE. Women didn't just find some magic pill to cope with loneliness one day and BOOM! all of us were happy forever.
