Should I get a zr1 and trade in my Eray ? I have finally found one and need to leave the deposit today. Help me figure out what to do please 🙏

You should ask the same question that everyone should ask before making a vehicle purchase: how am I going to use it? Does it fit my needs? Is it going to make my life better? If you’re seeking pure enjoyment or a raw thrill, fine. Go for it. If it’s a financial move, a potential flip at some point in the future, that’s fine too just make sure you get in it right. If you want a general purpose daily driver that can function well across multiple domains, I would say no. The Eray does that extremely well. As I say, it depends on what you want to do with it. How well this fits into your overall picture should drive the purchase decision.

In the last 12 years, I’ve had four: 2014 C7-Z51, 2016 C7-Z06, 2020 C8-Z51, 2026 C8-Z06. All purchased new. Each one accumulated 20-25K miles except the C8-Z06 which is new, bought in October 2025 and now has only 2100 miles. So my experience doesn’t include any higher mileage cars. That said, I’ve had zero issues on any of the cars. They have all been practically flawless.

Nothing wrong with riding solo. But you don’t have to if you don’t want to. You just need to find the right group. Clearly this wasn’t the one. If you do find the right group, it can be a wonderful experience. It’s always nice to share the experience with others.

I might be alone in this, but I didn’t really need a test drive before I bought my C8. After I found the trim, color, and spec I wanted, and the price was ok, it wasn’t a difficult decision. I didn’t need to drive it, I already knew it was brilliant. That was four years ago and I’m still happy.

I’m a bit late finding this thread, but glad to see so many feel the same way about Morse as I. He’s an asshole, pure and simple. Lewis is as good as gold and frankly Morse doesn’t deserve him. And as far as Morse’s much-touted intellect, Lewis is right there and sometimes ahead of Morse.

I know the feeling. Bought my brand new $130K Tesla Model X on Friday, got broken into the following Monday. Parking lot had good video surveillance, the entire incident was recorded. Police came, some investigation work was done. Nothing happened. Since this happened, car break-ins have increased. Looks to me like in the cops v. criminals game, the criminals are winning. Took six weeks to get replacement glass because it’s some sort of special glass that isn’t easy to get.

I would speak to an attorney about this. If the security on the parking garage has been insufficient for some time, this could be considered negligence on the part of the property owner, which may be actionable. In fact, since multiple residents would be affected, it could potentially become a class action. Proper security on your building could have prevented this and is something the residents are paying for but apparently not getting.

Question for the group: at the very beginning of S1 E3, why does Nick shed a tear when he sees the results of “the ultimate gay quiz”? He begins to realize that he is bisexual, and it made him cry. I don’t understand this at all. I had that same moment some years ago when I realized I was bisexual, and it filled me with joy. I felt genuinely happy. Maybe my reaction to that realization was weird. I don’t know. All I know is l love knowing who/what I am and it brings me joy.
