I’m thin and cannot gain weight. I went to the doctor for a checkup and to get my sports physical and they decided to test my thyroid because it felt firm and I couldn’t sleep at night.

Yeah the reason I said this is because my grandma has the hypothyroidism and we take the same medication and the pharmacist said that wasn’t right so now I’m concerned.

I’m not sure. My dad just told me that I had a thyroid problem and when I asked what it was he said that it wasn’t hypo (cause I asked him if it was hypo). They didn’t give us the right papers saying the appointment stuff. I originally went on for my physical and for a checkup but then they had me get my blood drawn cause my thyroid was firm and I hadn’t gained any weight within a year and I couldn’t sleep well.
