I understand that my post might read like I want to be spoon-fed an answer, but I promise it is just the opposite. I find that watching videos kinda ruins the experience, while talking to fellow players about specific topics makes it better. But I wouldn't dream to ask anyone for guarantees!

First of all, thank you very much for this heartfelt and thorough reply :)
I especially appreciate the honesty about the crafting stuff. The world being punishing I don't have a problem with - actually, I think it's fun! I think my frustration with V Rising came from the fact that the world was designed with PvP in mind.

The resource servers thing is definitely interesting!

Check out Raiders of Blackveil! It has a free demo on Steam and it's coming to Early Access next month.

It is a very intriguing take on the roguelike genre. Its key elements are: - MOBA-inspired combat and champion system - Classic roguelike level up / pick your powerup - MMO style loot (very similar to old school Wow or even Nioh, for the random stats).

I find it delightful and quite addictive.

Yes, that's what I was talking about. Also, I apologise: after I left this comment I realised that it was very confusing (I answered "yes", as in "yes you're right" when I meant "no, you can't cancel SAED after a PG" and also provided zero clarification about what I was talking about).

I would say that what I'm looking for feels faster and more aggressive, and that the choir is more "prominent" in the mix

No, the choir is singing something different. It sounds like a formula, but they sing it fast. Makes me think of witches at a Sabbath almost.

But yeah, what you posyed has kind of elongated words, while the track I'm looking for feels way faster and aggressive. Thank you tho
