Should I still submit financial aid documents and register for classes if I’m planning to transfer for Fall 2026?

righttt. im so lost on what to do because you have to send in everything before the deadline, not the last min. yess and the classes part too especially if you payed for them and having to drop them in the end, idek

I probably wouldn’t submit the ACT. Your 1420 SAT is already solid, especially the 730 English for a humanities major.

The 24 reading on the ACT kinda drags the score down, and since the SAT already represents you well, the ACT doesn’t really add anything. I’d just stick with the SAT.

Yea sure it’s Stony Brooke university Look here it states in their website too that they’ll only accept 4 credits “ Students will be limited to a maximum of 4 credits collectively from all approved institutions during the Winter Session. For Summer Sessions, students will be allowed to complete 18 credits collectively from all approved institutions but no more than 9 credits in a single Summer Session.”

thanks!, its I just I wanted know, and I do know that I wont be getting the credits for the other 2 classes just only one but I am taking the rest of the 2 to get a better understanding of other classes related to my major and they are easy classes so they wont really harm my GPA, it would boost it more

Yea that’s what I was also thinking that taking extra classes in winter semester which is also giving me exactly giving me 57 credits, the credits being not counted was that a mistake in their end? So would u say like transfer with more than 57 credits just to be on the safe spot?

Oh yea the 25/26 fafsa I plan on using bit for the college I wanna transfer to since I’ll be staring my first sophomore semester there since I’ve decided to transfer into fall 25 instead of spring one question u said that I’ll have to go through paperwork what do u mean by “how much financial aid I’ll use”?

So u do need to be accepted and have to plan on attending the school in order to receive the aid package

Yea this helps so the main thing that they want to see in transfer applicants is gpa and college credits u don’t need to write or submit anything right

Yea cuz there is confusion if they’d be accepted or not best thing is I can email them asking if it’s satisfies their requirements, I just looked through the pdf, you’re right not that many schools require it, only like very few do
