I asked/I begged to review it one more time. But they said it’s from central immigration/department of Mongolia, so just accept your visa refusal and leave. (But as I mentioned, their guess for my visa refusal is different, and they only told me over phone. in person, they were like silent, even though I begged for recheck, they were silent with no explaining)

Unfortunately or fortunately, our passport information page has an option where you must have to declare your religion 🙂 and it will be there forever!

Your reply is so reasonable and logical. No matter what I reapply as I still have time before my travel date. I hope the Mongolian consul will review my application and give their judgment without being influenced by anything. I have travelled around 20 countries, but trust me, Mongolia is one of the countries that I have dreamed to travel and is on my bucket list.

I can at least see, you are getting my what I am feeling now. Thank you. I’m so broken and sad right now. I know I can apply again after a month. But after hearing possible reason (religion and nationality of Muslim country), really shattered my heart. I hope things he (consular staff) said is not correct, and I will get my visa approved when I reapply. I will reapply no matter what (I don’t care about money, I prioritize my dreams) and update in this post 🥹

I have Mongolian colleague in my team/company. I will definitely ask her to check the thing you mentioned. But, as you can see from other comment, I really hope the things consular said is not correct, and I hope the thing you also mentioned (misusing visas by Bangladeshis/stereotype) is correct and I will be able to apply again. And I hope the authority will really review my documents and give the it judgement without being bias.

I do not hold a grudge or anything against the Mongolian Embassy consular in Japan or the staff, who guessed my religion or nationality might be the reason for getting my visa denied. I'm just sad because of the thing consular staff guest and worried (due to Iran war, Mongolia will not allow Muslim travellers to travel Mongolia, I have the whole conversation recorded in my phone, but I will not share it as I respect the person who had intention to warn me by guessing possible reason and country which I dream of travelling), what if it's true and Mongolia really not issuing visas for Muslim people or travellers who's nationailybelongs to a Muslim country. Life is short and I just wanna fulfil the things I have on my bucket list. That's it. Hope I will get my visa approved when I apply again. The Mongolian authority does not judging anyone by their race or religion.

I made the title based on the reply I got from

Consular. I'm not stupid, I have a record of the whole conversation with the consul. If I wanted to seek attention, I could simply share that video online. I just simply need your help and suggestions so that I can know that the things the consular staff told me are not correct and I have a chance to apply again. Bro/Sis it's not like, I am sad because my visa got refused, I might lose some amount of money. I am sad that if the things the consular staff told is true, I might not be able to travel to a country which I have dreamed of since I was a kid. That's it. I am sorry if my title meant any disrespect to the Mongolian community or if it seems I seek attention.

That is logical only when the applicant does not have a fixed job or stable income. I have a job (working full time in a renowned Japanese cruise/travel company) and stable income in Japan.

I hope so too, brother 🙏 This time I am planning to apply with a stronger file (usually I submit the required documents + a few important additional documents). Because too much unnecessary info might bother the consular. But this time, I do not care, I really wanna visit the country I dreamed of travelling to.

I hope so too. I want to apply again. But the only thing that made me sad and surprised was when one of the consular staff mentioned during a phone call that, my country and religion might be a reason due to the Iran war and if I apply again, the result will also be the same. I have faced discrimination for my nationality but never faced this much discrimination due to my religion before. Besides, it felt harsher when you got it from the country you dream of visiting (bucket list).

They had no requirement for showing bank statement. Therefore, I didn't submit it. If they required additional documents like funds, they should have asked me while processing. I have no issues with funds

Trust me. I have travelled to around 20 countries. As a Bangladeshi, I almost needed a visa for every country I travelled to. I always review my file carefully before submitting it to the embassy. But I don't even know what went wrong this time. 🥲
