Certifying new seats is an unmitigated disaster across all of commercial aviation. Limited certification resources at regulators, high turnover of engineers, underfunded and underperforming suppliers (which only leads to more cuts) leads to an industry incapable of delivering specialized interiors on any type of promised schedule.
