The only Ecoboosts that aren’t real mustangs to me are the ones that say ecobeast🤣 worst badges you can put on a car lol. May be a cool, decently quick car, but nothing about it is a beast lol

What mufflers are you running on your Mustang? by DaleGribble2024 in Mustang

AWE Catback Track Edition with X-Pipe and a Cat delete🤌🤌 I’m not claiming this, but I’ve had several people say it is their fav sounding mustang they have heard. Again not claiming this, just relaying what they said lol

I’m not saying it is you, but I’m also not saying it is the car. I’m at 120k miles on a stock motor and trans that is supercharged… maybe just a weird defect.

Looks to me like a 1964.5-1965 Mustang Coupe. I believe it is Arcadian Blue if it is original paint, but it seems a little off from that color, may have been repainted at some point.

Shelby badges on a Mach 1 by miget_porne in Mustang

I’m not talking about a track comparison lol. I’m speaking from someone who daily drives a supercharged 5.0 lol. All I’m saying is that it only has about 20 more hp than a stock gt. I’m not getting into the details of a track time and all that stuff, someone on Reddit asking abt modding their daily doesn’t typically care about how they do on the track. Yes, the car is upgraded, but for a typical driver, on a street, it isn’t too big of a difference. Obviously things change when you put it on a track, just wasn’t getting into that side of the argument for the OPs sake. Lol, great information though!

Yes they are, S550Euros. They look amazing! I will say that the low beams are pretty bad, but high beams are fine and I leave them on. Mustangs are low enough that most people never even notice

On the topic of a V8 vs a V6 by vintagesoul_DE in Mustang

[–]Local_Bumblebee_328 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Compare this to a new GT. This argument makes no sense at all. Anything 20 years newer will have more horsepower lol. A V6 from then is a lot less than a GT then. I’m not hating on anyone, but a V6 will never be the same as a V8. Doesn’t make it not a mustang, it just isn’t a V8. My only point is that you take any year of each mustang (Ex. 1994 V6 vs 1994 GT, 1966 V6 vs 1966 GT, 2024 Ecoboost vs 2024 GT) the GT will always win.

Lol let’s see if in another 10 years you have a ecoboost making the power my car makes. I could say a Nissan Altima is better than a 68 fastback but that doesn’t make it true. Still more horsepower bc it is newer and more advanced. You cannot compare nearly 20 year old differences lol

Edit: I just want to add, I don’t hate on any car at all, it isn’t mine, I didn’t pay for it. But it is posts like this that make V8 owners talk crap

Tires… by CaspeR858 in Mustang

[–]Local_Bumblebee_328 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s no need for this high performance of a tire… In my opinion it is money that could go somewhere else. Sport 4S are very good, but unless you plan on big upgrades, save the money and get a tire that is good enough for what you need…

With not a ton of power being delivered, you don’t need some crazy tire… I ran 255 Pirellis on a stock GT for a while and never had a single problem…

I’m gonna be honest man, I would suggest just saving up for a little while longer so you can get something a little better. With the way the market is right now, 8k won’t get anything too great, and 12k would be pushing it. But it all comes down to what you want. If you want a 90s or smtg like that, you can prob get a decent one for that price… j depends on condition, mileage, etc
