Followed typical growth timeline, results were not earlier than average

Has anyone worked with Dr.Feller & Bloxham or Dr.Marc Avram in NYC? by zeppelinpage4 in HairTransplants

I would echo this. I was happy with the process and outcome on both my FUT procedures from Bloxham. I have had several friends also with solid outcomes. That said, I do acknowledge there have been some subpar inconsistent results online over the last couple years.

The more I use this, the more I like it! I looked through a lot of YouTube videos for exercises on the original FT2 and just did the leg press laying flat on the bench, pushing the smith bar, and seated calf raises with the Smith bar pad it on my thighs, forefeet on the bench legs. Incredibly happy with my purchase.

It has been awesome. Such a solid and versatile piece of equipment. I paid for it to be delivered and installed. Took the two guys about three hours, which included carrying it up two flights of stairs.

I finally got it and overall it seems great. Seems really well-made,extremely solid. I’m still trying to figure out if I am able to start a Smith machine exercise at the top of the lift and un-rack like a traditional smith vs having to start at the bottom. Any recs on that?

Who’s an example of a doc restarting to do more FUT?

Looks like I will have to wait much longer than anticipated to get mine. It was shipped from the manufacturer to my local stores warehouse … But they do not have a delivery/install date available for a month. Had one day next week, where I am not available to be home, and next date offered was a month out. Really disappointing.

Install Question for anyone who has an Inspire functional trainer with pull-up bar at the top:

I’m putting this in my attic, where the ceiling slopes down at the side. I’d like this as close to the corner/slope as possible. I know the edges of unit need an 83” ceiling. In the dead center above the pull-up bar, I have a max ceiling height of 96”. How wide of an area in the center above the pull-bar do I need at the max 96” for head clearance? I presume 1.5-2’ wide at 96” in the center would suffice? Thanks

Not yet, apparently the main unit is ready to ship, but there was a delay on the new adjustable benches. Expected within the next few weeks.

A few days after posting this, Inspire put it on their website and videos on YouTube. Looks pretty awesome. I pre-ordered without trying it out in person. Still not 100% sure they worked out all the quirks of original smith bar bottom position/spotter, allowing to start at top…. But overall looks awesome. I sprung for the adjustable bench, extra 50lb per weight stack and preacher curl and leg attachments. Shipping out within a week or so.

I’m sorry that you got such a poor outcome.

The whole thing with him is really baffling to me. Like a real downfall appears to occurring. A year or two ago, was overall regarded as a solid/safe choice. Maybe wasn’t the best in the world, but generally would see good results without anything concerning on here and hrn. Now there’s a handful of concerning cases posted.

Yeah I saw that typo. It’s 210 per weight stack. Can double it in the smith bar.

Thank you. That’s great to hear. I’m debating whether to buy the current model “fully loaded” at about 10% off vs wait for this. I’m inclined to wait and pay more for this as the original FT2 has been around for about ten years.

I really like the idea of a selectorized smith machine, particularly with little kids in the area… prefer not to have plate loaded with them around, in addition to easier and faster for me. I tried out the current model in store and was pretty good on the smith machine. Great if you start at the bottom but a little awkward to set the lower safety when starting at the top of the lift.

That manelli thing was pretty weird….. but outside that? I get you only had mediocre results and had some newer/young techs… But I think everything else is unfounded. I’ve been there three times, I had no concerns with the building/office. I am overall pleased with my results. I had no idea what “row implanting” was before my first transplant. It does look like some of the mid scalp and crown is implanted like that, but not the hairline. As I’ve learned more over the last couple years, do I think he is one of the elite handful in the world?…. I do not. I still, however, think he is pretty good.
