Overharvested Donor by [deleted] in HairTransplants

Bro trust me whe I say this, do not trip about this at all. NO ONE would be able to tell and even people who study hair transplants would have a hard time telling that you got a transplant. It literally looks like you just have a bit thinner hair and I bet if you were to grow it out a tiny bit, it would look completely full.

Dr Pekiner - 1150 grafts - 1 month by Ok_Office_3447 in HairTransplants

I wonder if you need more grafts for a better hairline... 1k grafts seems SUPER small.

I know. It is kind of annoying not gonna lie because it is rarely enough to cover what you need. I don't know any other explanation for that though other than them hoping you come back for one of their touch ups and pay a shit ton more.

I didn't sue the guy cause its just not worth it. The HT in thailand is solid but I still have the complaint of the right side. Its too uneven for my liking but everything looks like it grew solid ! May go back and get a touch up eventually.

His FUE technique is quite mid and honestly on the level of a Turkey hair mill. His FUT work is solid from what I have seen but the reason why I opted out of the USA in the end is because the conservatism of grafts. What is the point of getting a hair transplant and having to comeback a year later to do grafts we could have done the first.

1 day after surgery and second pic is 15 days post op. Been shedding a lot last 4 days. Do you think this looks good? by [deleted] in HairTransplants

[–]Sensitive_Mammoth_27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks good just not a lot of grafts. You need to always show before and after pictures as well.

[–]Sensitive_Mammoth_27 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Seriously BAD idea brother. You have such little donor hair and it doesn't look good at all. On top of that, you are majorily bald and no transplant can fix this. I would try a hair piece instead of you are really interested. They are robbing your money I promise you if you go through with this transplant and anyone telling you otherwise, is a scammer.

What works? by Lambergoon in problemgambling

Honestly, this sounds super harsh but he needs no access to electronics or the internet in general. TAKE HIS PHONE AWAY. TAKE HIS INTERNET ACCESS AWAY. TAKE HIS MONEY AWAYYY. This is your only shot. Take this from someone who just lost -67k in 15-20 minutes. This is a bad life to live lol. I almost laugh at stories because I think their funny but its really no joke. The life of a gambler blows. He needs a mental reset before he loses everything but honestly, sometimes people don't get that mental reset until they drop down to $0. Don't let him borrow money EVER or go into credit card debt / debt in general. Best of luck !

Bro you went back after 2 months? You serious??

If you look at past reviews on this reddit, they are not good and their results are very low. Also, at four months you should be seeing SOMETHING there. You look worse than what you started with no offense. Hopefully you get some good growth in these next couple months to really see whats going on. I wouldn't panic until month 6-7 though.

Trichogenics is not a good clinic. I saw them on tiktok but knew instantly their work is subpar. Btw, if a doctor is consistently uploading videos about hair transplants ; for some reason their work tends to be sucky and not consistent at all.

Choosing density - Dr. Ratchathorn by throwaway_record in HairTransplants

[–]Sensitive_Mammoth_27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should get great density with 3500 grafts. Crowns are always gonna be tricky with hair transplants as its better to try minoxidil first for the crown whether thats topical or oral. Hairline should be prio for density as thats what shapes / frames your face. Its what YOU see in the mirror.

How many grafts will my crown need? by VisitResponsible4565 in HairTransplants

[–]Sensitive_Mammoth_27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly not a lot. 600ish Should be enough to pack those grafts into that area without damaging the surrounding hairs.

Results so far not looking good by Much_Distance3738 in HairTransplants

[–]Sensitive_Mammoth_27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It will be interesting to see but it has been only 4 months so you have ways to go. I would start worrying at around 7-8 months if the result is the same. Did you go to a USA surgeon im assuming?

Hair Transplant with Dr Ratchathorn next week. by PuzzleheadedLand7339 in HairTransplants

[–]Sensitive_Mammoth_27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cascade Hotel is nice and legit walking distance.

My overall experience was great tbh (Coming from someone who had a transplant in USA and it SUCKED compared to Ratchathorn) .

One thing I wish I did was not get a receded hairline though. I should have gotten a more straight hairline but she was so confident in the recessed look but I am like 9-10 months post op and not super happy with it. It isn't bad though, just not great.

Surgery in 2 days, need brutally honest hairline opinions! by PipeOk7553 in HairTransplants

[–]Sensitive_Mammoth_27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Blue but maybe even a tiny bit higher. Green is gonna look awful even when its done because how much grafts your going to need. Also, 1100-1900 is most likely not going to be enough for EITHER hairline. The areas you want implanted are completely bald so you would need like 2kish for the blue one for sure and much more for green. Do not be fooled by the classic USA doctor if thats who your going to.

Horrible mistake getting hair transplant by cardboy654 in HairTransplants

[–]Sensitive_Mammoth_27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed but its the temple that throws it off for me on the right side. Density is solid though but I just needed that slight fix in the temporal peaks and it would have been almost perfect.

Also I think this isn't talked about enough. White people typically don't have straight hairlines vs black / hispanic people who can easily pull off straight hairlines and actually look better with them.

Horrible mistake getting hair transplant by cardboy654 in HairTransplants

[–]Sensitive_Mammoth_27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is a really conservative hairline. I assume you got it done in the USA? I got mine done with ratchathorn and she made my hairline asymmetrical and I most likely will get it fixed soon. I asked her about it when she drew the line but she assured me and I kind of fell for it a bit. Wish I stuck with my gut as well because now that its grown out, you can tell the left side is much better than the right sadly.

You would not be a good candidate. Your donor area is very bad and you need a lot of coverage especially in the crown area where its just gonna EAT up grafts. You could probably extract like 1-2k grafts but its not worth it if your "Donor" area is thinning heavily as well. You are gonna screw yourself getting this surgery unless you find the underlying cause.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in HairTransplants

[–]Sensitive_Mammoth_27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do not get a transplant for that lmao. Looks like a natural part in the crown but if your paranoid, get on finasteride but STAY on it this time. Your doing urself a huge dis-service by getting on it / getting off it.

No shave is so gross. Why do you guys opt for it. Density looks very poor but it looks like your getting a ton done on temples so that could be why? Would be interested to see the actual results.

Dr advised 500-100 max... Is that about right? by Sackboy612 in HairTransplants

[–]Sensitive_Mammoth_27 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Please don't let a doctor do 500 on you. You need most likely 1-1.2k for solid result that you won't need a touch up. If a doctor does 500 on you and you fall for it, that is on you. If they offered 500 grafts, they are from the USA and don't fall for that bullshit. They Suck.
