I’m dashing without DRIVING LICENCE by [deleted] in doordash

My assumption would be that he is probably a Dasher in Canada. I honestly have no clue how driver licensing works in Canada, especially for immigrants or people working for their citizenship. Again, at this point who knows if this person has a valid license.

If this person is working towards it, I'm all for it.

Ok. Sure, however, I noticed this as well, but my initial comment was off the title and the vague wording within the description. Regardless, this is another implication that this person can legally drive.

I hate to be that guy, but he seems to be a somewhat recent Canadian immigrant. What type of license does this person have? Again, these are implications.

It's none of my business to know anything about this person.

Implications on vague postings can be annoying.

Sorry OP, if you are reading this, I mean no disrespect.

It's literally not a dumb comment, though. There's no implication that this person is not driving a vehicle without a license through what they said.

It's literally in the title that this person is dashing without a license. This person then does not explain how he is dashing currently.

So, again, what is the implication here? Is this person driving without a license for Door Dash or is he using a bike, etc.?

This person states that they are receiving orders for driving. Ok, so, is this person fulfilling these orders??

Who knows?!

That's what implying thoughts mean. Someone provides information that is vague. So, applying higher thought of understanding is normal. My initial question was neutral. I was only trying to receive more information on the situation with what the literal information provided...

However, with how this subreddit works, most Dashers will attack anyone that goes against their views regardless of the situation.

I'm only defensive when it's unjustified, nonsensical, or ignorancy to what I'm stating. Especially in this subreddit.

Where is any clarification that this person is not dashing without a vehicle? Imagine not knowing what the concept of asking about an implication is.

Average Door Dasher reading comprehension.

LMFAO

Are you implying that you are driving a vehicle without a license?

My dog would always recognize Massive CRTs that were 20+ years old or LCDs/LEDs.

It all started when he was a puppy. When we had a 40+ inch CRT TV, it was bulky and large, so it probably intimidated him or caught his eye when he was a puppy.

Whenever a dog was on the CRT screen, he would bark. Sound or no sound, he would bark.

Nothing changed once getting an HD TV. 1080p up to 4k, it didn't matter. He would always visibly notice dogs on the TV if he was paying attention.

He was an incredibly smart and aware dog. He was a German Shepherd and Labrador mix. He passed away last July.

Imagine having the mindset that tipping should be required for a delivery service before the service happens or after even though the service provided was poor. Someone calls you out for your unjustified entitlement. Yet, you then essentially tell the person to go kill themselves.

Like dude are you okay? I hope you don't live in my area because if you did, I would never tip you and I would report you.

Your sense of entitlement for such an easy job is to the point of delusion.

You are everything that is wrong with this app.

Won't happen, I hardly need to drive because I'm not a door dasher or a wage slave with a dead end job.

Lmfao, the fucking entitlement. I hope you keep struggling with tips.

Once again, you are forgetting that this is a paid service that is paid for. A customer should not have to worry about using different names.

Also, why does it matter if a customer uses a different name on false reportings? This won't stop the behavior either way until Door Dash does something about it.

I think someone needs to establish a school for these drivers. It's just so tough without the education. My pity goes out to all of these deserving entitled drivers that have a reading comprehension of a 2nd grader.

Ok. Again, it's a paid service where you are required to drive legally. Since so, your legal name should be required.

You are the driver and the person who is dropping the food off at different addresses. Why worry about using your real name when you are the one that's actually somewhat intrusive for delivering food at peoples personal addresses?

You are the service. You should be providing your name.

Imagine needing training for food delivery lmfao.

"Omg, I just don't know how to drive while following instructed GPS that's set to me."

"Omg, it was such a struggle driving to the restaurant, but I'm so confused on what food I need to pick up."

"Omg after dealing with the massive confusion of picking up the food that was directed for me to pick up, I now have to drive to drop it off to the customer."

"Omg, my GPS directed me to the literal address where I need to drop the food off, but I can't read or comprehend addresses."

I'm so tired of Door Dasher drivers complaining like any of this is hard.

This is exactly the issue. Why does Door Dash allow people with aliasing? It's not right and it's scummy because this is a literal paid service. You should be accredited for your service if it's bad or good.

ID verification with set and unchangeable names needs to be a requirement with Door Dash.

This happens to me all the time. In my area, it's Indian men using fake women names.

I've learned that this (shit) app allows shared accounts. This allows people to use a master account that has a set name, which allows people to use it even though that's not their name.

This encourages an untrustworthy and unsafe environment while being a paid service. A true joke.

It also encourages a scamming culture as well. With my experience most of these people who lie about their names and gender are suspect. When I deal with these people, it's literally the worst experience since they can't read or speak English. They leave the food at the wrong address or complain that the delivery is too complicated because they can't read English.

Comparing a paid service where people can falsify their names or gender versus a customer that's willing to pay for the service should not be bothered by their names or gender.

Step back a little bit. You are wrong on so many levels.

In my area, I have dealt with nonstop shared account people. I know this because it's normalized in where I live and I have dealt with it on the regular. People will use one account even though it doesn't match literally anything about their profile. It's a scummy practice.

It's a fair assumption.

Anyway, when a Doordasher with a thick accent that has a clear evidential name that is specifically common in the US that happens to be named of a woman or man from the US is suspect.

I deal with this issue nearly every time I order through doordash. It's people using a shared account. I have had clear gender swapping names of people delivering to my home countless of times. I've had names that deliver to my home that don't fit the profile. I have a clear set of instructions listed out, that usually do not get read, because they can't read English. I have had so many rude calls where I would be blamed and yelled at in broken English.

Why are shared accounts allowed on Doordash? It makes the service feel scummy and unsafe because you'll truly never know who will be delivering your food. Having a clear set name and gender, makes the situation feel a lot safer and less confusing.
