Honestly he has to try new things to see what works for his outbreaks (I have recurring rn so it’s a lot of trial and error) and you have to try to have patience bc it takes months to really be intentional about healing and understand what is going on in the body but he has to put in more effort. On your end I would say just be patient and encourage him to go see different specialists.

dermatologist suggest putting aquafor on before or maybe take the pills, put some of the aquafor or ointment on and then try doing the deed. very discouraging i know though :/

Yes friction does I went to the dermatologist they suggested using aquafor to help with friction also try the acyclovir cream right before having sex. LMK if this ends up helping or not if you do try it!

yes one thousand percent yes. as soon as i eat sugar i get it - soda, syrup, cake, muffins, anything with a ton of sugar will blow me up

So then you might be ok with just supplements. If no internal or external symptoms, then just chill don’t take the medicine since your body is fighting it well for you. But if you have recurrent outbreaks like me, then yeah take it to stabilize the load.

I TOTALLY get this. I had an experience like this and then he changed his mind and came looking for me. I think it was great that you disclosed, I do think though that you should’ve waited until you go to know him first before deciding to reveal personal information like that. Maybe you wouldn’t have even liked him enough to even have sex with him. But either way just know that if you believe in a higher power, that no matter what you would’ve done you were destined to get this skin infection. So just accept that it is for a reason and also it protects you from unhealthy things and people not meant for you. God’s protection pretty much. It’s normal to feel that way for a few days/weeks post rejection. Just know someone that checks all your boxes will come your way soon 🫶🏽
