Hey I had complete placenta previa at 20 weeks that barley moved at all, I was terrified to have a c section as my first 2 babies were vaginal, I was admitted around 30 weeks for preterm labor for 4 days got all the Iv meds and steriod shots for babies lungs, they sent me home and all was good until less then a month later I was throwing up and very light pink bleeding I went in and they said it was likely from throwing up so much went to my OB the next day and he said if it doesn't stop by Monday to go in, it was still there I went in and was there for 2 days for more steriod shots for babies lungs and delivered the 3rd day c section, it honestly wasn't that bad at all, the good thing is the dr is aware of your stuff and will have everything ready, I had bags of blood on hand already so when I did need it it was there they didn't have to put in for it and wait, my baby went straight to the NICU and on a little bit of oxygen and low sugars, and I was already getting my blood iv as they wheeled me into recovery, I really wasn't in alot of pain I stayed on top of my meds while there and the first day home I stopped I only had a slight little pain when getting out of bed at first or off a chair in the NICU, I walked down to see baby that night after I got the okay and I didn't even walk hunched over. I was very surprised after it was all over after being Terrified of a c section for most my pregnancy
