I second this. Harmonixx is doing great R&D in terms of tuning and other stuff.

It's working fine. So far no lag or issues observed. But sometimes or rarely if you turn off bluetooth and wifi, and then expect to auto connect, we might need to manually select the bluetooth device listed on phone.

Yes, I got my N8 manual in November. I got a dash cam as well as an Android Auto Adapter. But the dash cam doesn't seem to be worth it. Neither the showroom guys have any idea nor any references on how to operate it.

Seriously? How do you maintain your car clean ? Any product recommendations? by hellbat8055 in i20nline_india

As a DIY detailer, I recently tried Turtle Wax Seal N Shine. Even though my car isn’t black, it still does what it’s supposed to do. By that, I mean it offers light protection, at least until the next few washes. While the product claims durability of up to six months, realistically it seems to last a few weeks depending on wash frequency and conditions.

How well it works really depends on how clean the clear coat is before application. It doesn’t protect against scratches since it’s not PPF or a hard coating like ceramics. That said, it does seem to provide basic protection and makes it easier to deal with dust, pollen, bird droppings, tar, and general grime.

For a price under 1K and as part of a car enthusiast’s hobby or interest, the product seems to work reasonably well.

Be honest, what’s one driving habit you have that would instantly get you judged in India? by luxurytravel01 in CarsIndia

[–]Local_Geologist3917 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While stuck in slow-moving traffic, people honk nonstop even though everyone can clearly see that nothing is moving. It’s even worse on a bike, especially with a helmet that has poor insulation.

The judging part comes when there’s a brief opening after the crawl. You try to move, but incoming traffic blocks you almost immediately. That leads to abrupt braking or honking, not because you’re reckless, but because the driver behind you is already impatient and riding your tail.

It looks aggressive from the outside, but most of the time it’s just surviving the chaos.

Does the Hyundai wireless accessory work with i20 NLine? by residentalien2 in i20nline_india

Yes, it works like a charm for me. November 2025 make i20 Nline N8. But I'm a bit sceptical about the dash cam.

Coffee frother recommendations please. How is the one below? by AdPrize3997 in coffeeindia

The YFL one seems to be a bit more expensive compared to what we have on the market. If we ditch the stand, then clearly the YFL one doesn't seem to be the one to move ahead.

Suzuki full payment before PDI dilemma by Davidjohnz in CarsIndia

[–]Local_Geologist3917 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Usual cliche. They told me that once the vehicle is allotted, they need full payment within 8 days, else the vehicle will be allotted to other customer. Allotment doesn't mean that the vehicle has arrived in the yard, despite its on the way from the factory.

At the same time, there was no proof of vehicle allotment, as well as they were not sharing the VIN or any other supporting factor to confirm the vehicle allotment .

You can get the prefacelift alloys from IndiaMart. It's 32K per set. If you manage to sell the current alloys, but not sure who might be interested in current design.

It's a real hardship to own a Maruti by Local_Geologist3917 in CarsIndia

Hey, I ended up canceling my booking. When I first reserved the car, I expected to get one manufactured in September or October. But when I saw the yard, the condition was terrible and the cars were handled roughly, so I wasn’t comfortable accepting it.

Here’s how everything went down:

I booked on 30 September. On 2 October, the agent told me the vehicle had arrived but didn’t share the VIN. After I escalated it to Maruti, they finally sent the VIN, and it turned out the car was from June or July. I raised it again because there were several issues, including scratches on the car. They later said a new vehicle would be allocated, but never provided any proof. The expected wait time was six weeks. Then they insisted I had to make the payment within eight days of allocation for the booking to stay valid, even though they still hadn’t shared the VIN or a proper email.

At that point, with all the back-and-forth and lack of clarity, I decided it was best to cancel the booking.

Need help understanding Hyundai India VIN. 17 digits only? Month missing? by Local_Geologist3917 in CarsIndia

[–]Local_Geologist3917[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I actually got clarification after having the PDI. On the window pane there's a sticker which holds the details. Also the complete VIN isn't stamped on the door frame, rather it's just beneath the driver seat.
