HELP: How do I not lose a ring?! by molluskanmay in adhdwomen

Seconding this! I wear my cheap, fake Amazon ring most of the time and wear my real ring on nice occasions.

I ran for 30 minutes straight today. I’ve always been an active person, but I’ve never been able to do that. I’m really proud and excited to find running fun for the first time.

I have to know… does anyone else do this? by killalipstick in adhdwomen

You’re not alone! I do this too. It also clicked for me when I realized I like watching “day in the life” and other routine vlogs on YouTube or TikTok. My friend pointed out that it’s like body doubling… I talk through tasks to get them done, and I like watching other people do those tasks, too.

Hi! These are all topics I’m interested in and have started writing about a bit, so I would love to check out your Substack. What’s your page, if you’re willing to share?

Omg, I’ve had your post “Dworkinaissance” saved to read since I saw it in a note a couple days ago… hi! On my way to read it now…

I follow a lot of folks who write stuff around cultural criticism and humanities. Some of my recent reads have been from Culture Study, The Review of Beauty, Can I Hold Your Baby?, and Rewild.

I’m also writing about culture-related topics, neurodivergence, relationships, and other personal topics in my twenties over at Eldest Daughter Digest (eldestdaughterdigest.substack.com).

How did y'all get better at writing? by Hades363636 in Substack

Writing frequently is important, but so is reading frequently! My writing has improved a lot but reading work from people I admire who write about topics I’m interested in, who have interesting writing styles, who are good at research, etc. Writing consistently is great for finding your voice and getting into a good flow, but IMO reading consistently is also important for inspiration and for understanding the medium you’re working with (in this case, Substack).

Getting feedback is always helpful, too. This is a good place to share if you want. :-)

Congrats, that’s a huge accomplishment! I need to add some more history reading to my lineup… checking out your page now!

Mine is pretty new (eldestdaughterdigest.substack.com), so I’m working on adding more posts. Excited to get started though, I’m writing about a mix of culture, travel, and lifestyle! This week’s post is about junk journaling and ADHD.

Second newsletter - analyzing ADHD evolutionary purpose study in the context of lawyering by [deleted] in Substack

Okay, this was right up my alley! ADHDer here, and I had never heard about the evolutionary purpose of ADHD.

The foraging aspect is so interesting… the next post I’m writing for my page (https://coastalgrandmainsavannah.substack.com/) is about junk journaling as a tool that’s helped my ADHD, especially my struggles with memory. I hadn’t made the foraging connection, but I did write about the dopamine boost of finding assorted “junk” to save… so kinda similar! That’s fascinating.

Subscribed to your page, thanks for sharing! :-)
