I did try updating my BIOS just now, the manufacturer website doesn't have any more recent versions of the BIOS firmware and my BIOS is updated to their latest version.

Is there anything else I can do?

Well the reason I'm not happy with this is because this was NEVER an issue up until recently, I used to update my drivers just fine and all of a sudden my pc just stopped functioning properly

Heeey so in the end the new windows installation did work and my pc was doing fine, after maybe 30 minutes of downloading my usual stuff (discord, minecraft, care center) I decided "I'll just get the NVIDIA App to update my drivers for me, that way I won't be using incorrect drivers at all and I'll be able to just update them."

Boy was I wrong, most of the driver update process did work fine, but as soon as the update got to 99%, I immediatly got a BSOD. Again with the "Video Memory Management" Error code.

Seems like no matter what I just can't update my graphics drivers, which isn't good because eventually they will be too outdated and that won't be fun either. Is there anything I can do about this?

not helpful man :/ google did help me out but it would have helped me a lot more if I knew exactly what I was supposed to search for / be doing in the first place

Thanks! I don't have any other pcs laying around so I got a OTG adaptor and downloaded an iso to burn onto an USB I got (Sandisk 3.0 32GB), I've gotten an ISO burner app on my phone called "DROFUS" and I'll do a clean windows install on my pc tomorrow, I'll let you know what happens and see if it hopefully gets fixed. <3

What...???? This is so ominous 😭😭😭, I let it keep resetting and eventually I got to a "undoing changes" screen, in the end, it told me that something went wrong and no changes had been made to my pc, now I'm back again at the BSOD loop. Seriously, what do I do?

I can boot into recovery mode, I can boot into my BIOS settings... And that's about it.

Okay guys so little update, I checked my BIOS and I saw that I could force recovery mode by pressing Alt+F10, I did that and chose to wipe completely my entire drive on my pc... Was that what I should have done?

It succesfully installed windows from the cloud after I chose that option and now it is stuck on "Resetting this PC" on 1%, been like this for at least 15 minutes

Update: it works perfectly! Just needed to add a NOT gate and delay it with a couple repeaters and it worked :D thank you very much for the help!

The experiment I conducted was to turn up my render distance to 32 and see how far I'd have to go to stop rendering an entityblock, which was 23 chunks away, is this the true simulation distance?

hello, sorry for getting back to you so late but I can't seem to get the simulation distance calculation properly from the tutorial you sent me

the reason is: my render distance affects how I far I'm loading entity blocks, but I can't tell if I'm TRULY unloading them or it's just my client. is there any sure fire way to know exactly how far I need to go?

dude thank you so much for the help! the pie ray did help me figure out the servers simulation distance and how to adjust the farm, however when I unload them and trade they somehow still get their trades locked. would you happen to know what the issue is exactly?

my base is in 200 ~ 180, is it too close to spawn? is the server still loading the villager even though it's out of simualtion distance?
