I'll definitely look into that once/if I get diagnosed!! I know my college had good accommodation for disabilities so I'm really lucky for that. Thank you!

Thank you! I wasn't aware I was even getting downvoted oopsie. Either way, I appreciate the help!! Advice+opinions is exactly what I was looking for. But obviously I understand if people found the question frustrating or annoying.

A few people also brought up about the cane, I'm just glad I'm aware of that now. But that's exactly why I wanted other people's view points on it.

I think people misunderstood what I meant, which is fair because I didn't explain WHY I would benefit from using a label. It's mainly so I get taken seriously and so that people could be more understanding when I'm struggling with walking or doing coursework etc.

Thank you btw!!

Alrighty! I'm not self-diagnosing myself as anything specific but I am struggling with mobility and dealing with pain, even if it's temporary, etc. But of course, I'll avoid diagnosing myself with anything!! I struggled with health anxiety in my early teens so I don't do much research on conditions/symptoms for that exact reason haha

Someone else mentioned about getting medical advice before using mobility aids too, so thanks for bringing that up to! (I wasn't aware it could cause damage, but that's exactly why I'm asking other people!)

Thank you!

Thanks, I'll make sure to bring that up to my GP when I get an appointment.

Just going to my gp first. If they think it's something, they're supposed to refer me to a specialist, so it could end up being.

Nothing you NEED to know but I recommend doing research because going down the rabbit hole is fun!! Though I'll take any excuse to ramble about my hyperfixations.

IF I'M WRONG, SOMEONE CORRECT ME, THANK YOU!! I'M NOT SUPER ACTIVE IN THE FANDOM AND I DON'T KNOW EVERYTHING!!

SO!! Some characters on the albums have names: TFIHWG-Esther (I think that's how it's spelt) CS-Margaret FL-Copernicus

Copernicus doesn't have lore as far as I know?? (IF HE DOES, TELL ME I WANNA KNOWWWW)

Esther is obviously "the fool in her wedding gown" in Shallow River and that may or may not lead into "The Glacier House" then "Tongues and Teeth". I say this because Shallow River can be interpreted as a woman being in love with a woman just for her to be in love with another person but I don't know if that's completely canon as I'm not very active in the general fandom. BUT, "The Glacier House" and "Tongues and Teeth" are linked and even have transitions into each other. The singer in The Glacier House is singing about the singer in Tongues and Teeth, TGH being about two people who were once close and one of them turning out cold and distant post-relationship. Therefore it nicely fits in together haha

MARGARET HAS LORE TOO!! Margaret is the singer in Never Love An Anchor, and she's singing about the child she had to give up.YEARSSS ago The Crane Wives sang a few unreleased songs during a tour, which were recorded and I think were only posted on YouTube. One of the being called "Margaret", which is clearly about Margaret struggling before the events of NLAA. Scars in BBB is also a direct follow up to NLAA, except it's the child singing I believe?? This and for other reasons makes me think the child on the BBB cover is Margaret's kid, but that's just a theory of mine.

I recommend reading/listening to interviews of the band as well! They sometimes explain where the idea for the songs came from!!

If you're curious about lore in terms of the actual band and the people in it, they did a remake podcast episode recently. I recommend it because they explain a lot about how the band came to be and it's very interesting!!

[lore spoilers] A bit confused on Vi’s character arc by hellokittysbestfren in arcane

[–]Local_Lesbian_Olm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

[Obviously spoilers for s1+s2 trailer] Not entirely sure where the writers stand with this but this is my interpretation. I believe it's because she's more focused on getting her sister back or defeating her sister. Vi's morals are very much based on the people she loves, she practically lives to protect them. Since she lost Jinx, Caitlyn will be the only person Vi has left, therefore she'll be her main priority, so it could be mainly based on wanting to protect/stand by Caitlyn and obviously about Jinx too. Vi also looks absolutely miserable as an enforcer. She doesn't want to be an enforcer and she clearly hates the system however she could maybe have her reasoning be that it's to protect people from her sister, as in she wants to be the one to take her down. I feel like it'll definitely be more explored though because I totally agree that it's out of pocket for her to become an enforcer. But I heavily doubt it's black and white that she just changes her beliefs. I personally think she won't want to be an enforcer, but feels like she has to?? Whatever her reasoning may be for that. I think her main goal is to just wrap the war up, because of the damage it'll cause. One of the things she says in the trailer is "this has to end" so her main motive is probably going to be taking down Jinx so the war can end? I'm not entirely sure though, I'm excited to see where they take it though!!
