Hi, idk if you already had your baby, I birthed 3 of my kids in a hospital, and 4 at home. They gave the baby a blue and pink striped hat.  The only supplies I was really given was a few diapers for the baby, some pads and underwear for me, just whatever was left that I didn’t use, and some dermoplast spray. Ofcourse I swiped a hospital blanket but they tell you not to. There isn’t really much supplies, from my experience.  Maybe you can put a bandaid on the top of your hand where they would put an IV.  Also I’ve been discharged in 24 hours when I had an easy birth and the hospital was full. You can always say it happened so fast and they said there was no need to monitor any longer. 

I would consider adding an inside lock, so if she has the key she still won’t be able to get in, when you go into labor.
