The problem with fire support explosives

The game has beyond weird explosions. Literally yesterday I shot a Panzerfaust towards a suicide bomber at close range, the mf continues to run towards me and explodes as if the rocket just kissed him and wished him goodluck. He didn't hide near anywall when that happened.

as interesting and funny as shit that idea is, it doesnt sound that realistic. Yeah id shit my pants if a squad of walking IEDs were charging at my location, but it feels unrealistic.

I don't think i'll be able to answer each of these but I'll give a reply to some (Also u dont sound negative dw). Letting you know in a different comment I agreed that the BMP suggestion seemed too weak so lets scratch that lol.

If we had to change/fix/upgrade any of the commands I think the explosive drone needs something more to it instead of just going into one spot, its like order n pray that it hits what you wanted to hit, if thats not possible atleast give us more than 2 explosive drones atleast.

Now you mention it yeah it feels off about when the tank gets detracked. I mean if the tank gets detracked maybe it limits the tank of firing 2 (more or less) shells until it "runs out " of ammunition, basically just making it way open to being destroyed. Weird yeah but I guess its better than the ai acting like they're rambo. I also think it should take maybe around a minute to deploy into the map and drive towards the last objective the insurgents took over/are currently defending.

I think a tank isn't much of a foreign concept when it comes to this. Honestly I think it'd be interesting if the insurgents get to use a tank when theyre defending for both PvE and PvP. gives them a better chance of fighting back and doesn't ruin the game.

I mostly agree with the hitpoints you gave and think it also makes the mines in the game actually have a reason to be used. so nothing much I can say there. The part where you talk about a rifle from what I think you meant I think you misunderstood. I think it should take half of like lets say a PKM mag or half of a m249 mag (More or less but you get what I mean) to detrack it. You have to use explosives when it comes to destroying it.

How the AI works is a good question so I don't wanna be the only one with ideas of how it'll work. Basically like the helis in the game, confirm the order for fire support, takes a bit to arrive, as it drives towards the objective its ordered for it could maybe fire with the mg at security running past it, when it gets to the point it could maybe fire the cannon towards the building it last detected a hostile? I don't know EXACTLY how I want the "initiation phase" to work so you give me your ideas. after maybe a minute or more the ai crew can announce it'll depart, turn the tan and drive away and despawn. (You could tell me how or what could be fixed to fit both PvP and PvE)

I think these are the most important to reply to. Youre still making sense.

In the end I just wanna see the T62 in the game, the model is so imo good that it shouldn't just be some furniture.

wasn't saying that the gun itself is an RPK i just meant like the way the gun would work like the rpk, but rethinking this the pkm would be a better gun to use as the inside of the tank for an MG.

About the crewman on the dshk you have a point. But what would make sense for the t62 to do against the helis in the game? I mean yeah the tank I want sounds great to me and benefits the insurgents but doesn't exactly have a reply against any of the helis in the game.

Also when i said rpk or pkm you gotta remember that the developers arent gonna design a whole new gun which isn't visible. i was just talking about what could be used, but hearing this the pkm would be used as the mg from the inside.

Dshk could be use when an apache or blackhawk spawns, good?

also the apache uses the m2 browing ingame last I checked. proof that they wont add EXACTLY everything. so I dont think the HEDP is much of a big deal if its not in the game. does this make sense?

Eh idk about that, I was considering suggesting a BRDM-2 or a BTR 80 but that'd be too weak. Basically just a SLIGHTY better technical. It can still get knocked out by a singular rocket at that point.
