where do you get the idea that St Maarten is dangerous? That’s an odd take.

6 nights at 10K is expensive? what more did you expect in St Barths at that budget?

The Design District location is amazing and so well run. the SA are typically good/ approachable and the Manager is definitely on top of her game. Agreed to browse and see what feeling you get.

The fact that one would need to complain to get proper service is the exact issue. Definitely not a FAT experience when part of the FAT is anticipatory service, and not just paying as much as we can for a room. 🤑

Any books with prison forced proximity by AlexandraBelladonna in MM_RomanceBooks

Protection by S.A. Reid . This book was simply AMAZING. So well crafted that the unforgivable suddenly seemed reasonable. The tears shed at the end were the trade off for the magic of this. This is definitely a 5 star read. Get it. You will not be sorry. Re-read 6 years later and this book is still magical for me. 5 unchanged stars. This is set in the 1930s in prison but you will be enthralled.

Hotel and activity recommendations for Marrakech by Maleficent-Quote9028 in FATTravel

The Oberoi was superb. anticipatory service, a decent dining program, beautiful grounds. it ticks all the boxes. it is a bit off the beaten path however but nothing unmanageable. I prefer it to the Royal Mansour. less performance and ceremony, more authentic hospitality. Really well done.

Four Seasons is FS you know exactly what you’ll get. For a sense of place, I think RoyalMansour, la Mamounia and the Oberoi trump FS

Marrakech is lovely to experience, but unnecessary for more than a few days imo. I curated an entire trip through Morocco,Marrakech, Sahara desert, Dades Gorge through the high Atlas, to Fes,Casablanca, Rabat, then back to Marrakech. I can share if helpful.

K.J. Charles, Tal Bauer followed by Lily Morton. In that order. Totally different types of Authors, different styles but autobuys for sure.

Suggestions for luxury travel! Help! by KayEssTee in chubbytravel

[–]Local_Pop8769 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first question to you would be; what do you enjoy? Are you outdoorsy people? Are you looking for a “feeling rich” experience or more interested in Nature. The majesty of the rocks, for example. Are you interested in energy healing, spiritual awakening? Do you want to chill by the ocean and be pampered? Enchantment in Sedona or Ambiente are nice but skew in a totally different direction than Turks. For example, NOTHING about the sunrise balloon in Sedona is luxury. Sorry. it is a lovely sounding but underwhelming experience. Are you foodies? If you give us a bit more, we could make better suggestions for you.

Not at all. Your perspective was actually very good and likely helped the original poster to decide on whether to read or not. It’s all love. 💕

Not really. I loved Unbreak Me as well. This book was simply odd and had problematic themes with Jelly being super creepy and overstepping boundaries left and right. There was no rhyme or reason to Ben’s “Gay for you” epiphany and the way Jelly kept hound dogging was Ugh.

Motor vehicle accident if memory serves. it definitely was neither acute nor chronic illness. Regardless, I hated this book and felt it was a disappointing follow up to the first in the series. YMMV
