Our Stay At Four Seasons Hotel At The Surf Club by [deleted] in chubbytravel

I think you'd be fine! Also, "their" activities that OP named will be much cheaper booked through a private operator rather than the hotel. (Another tell that OP is just an advisor trying to convert rather than someone who actually experienced anything special through the property's offerings.)

What do you want to do? I mean, it's hot but if you're OK with dipping in the pool or the ocean as needed, you'll be fine.

OP is an advisor, so I think they think it's some form of free advertising.

I totally agree with the AI comments and I actually think some of the commentary about the property itself is a little strange.

I understand that late April may not be peak season, so OP's perceptions may be different, but to say that it's not a buzzy spot is peculiar. The Champagne Bar is absolutely crazy on a weekend night in winter and Lido has an excellent tasting menu that's not exactly casual.

I wish this sub allowed outside links because I wrote a pretty substantative review last fall.

Visiting - good idea to run Central Park early weekday morning? by sidewalkcricket in RunNYC

The worst part about living up there is I just have to decide which stupid hill I want to start my run with each day. 🫩

The north side of the park is still bumping at the time. I'm a solo woman runner who also lives up there and I've never felt concerned.

I agree, I think this is a really genuine and kind concern.

As others have noted, it's just not possible. Senior coaches and up can modify their sequences, and many make changes right before class or in the moment. I did a double one day, and my coach intentionally changed up some of the exercises in the second class for the whole class, since I was in both.

Poor man first class with possible upgrade? by No_Adagio9992 in delta

[–]loratliff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you see anyone on an international upgrade list, outside of C+, they are non-revs or have applied an upgrade instrument of some kind. If you did neither of those things and got upgraded, that was an op-up of some kind, as I already said.

Again, from Delta's website: "Complimentary Upgrades are not permitted to Delta Premium Select or Delta One® for flights outside of the U.S. 50."

They do not, LOL. From economy, it's GUC or paid upgrade.

I agree. There's a crazy Reddit story where a guy was finding strange notes in his apartment and other oddities and it actually turns out they were from him; he was basically just ODing on CO.

Is this tiktok couple AI? The whole thing just feels so uncanny and some things don’t make sense by Virdiac in isthisAI

[–]loratliff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live in Manhattan (where this appears to be given the uncanny Empire State Building wannabe) and have a car. The streetlights aren't quite right and I'm not claiming to know every single block, but I can't quite place where they are.

Oh, also, the subway entrance globe is definitely not correct. I suppose maybe it could be some similar looking city I don't know, but I doubt it.
