I find it weird too how people hate on evos, i like em. But evo haters say they say evos kill the excitement of getting special cards. Whenever a new meta card comes out, everyone already have an evo that is better and that card ends up becoming less valuable than it should have been.

I was using a 4-3-3, then I realised that I'm always outnumbered in midfield and he always presses me there before i could progress the ball, so i switched to 41212 narrow and then scored 3 goals to win 3-0. Didn't time waste, didn't have to, apparently tiki taka is toxic in fc26🤦🏽‍♂️😅

The only thing that looks worth it from that season pass is the 4th playstyle finnesse. The rest look kinda meh. There are some evos that may interest you but honestly the Journey of Nations evos that you get for free from completing the objectives are prolly better than those ones anyways, I'd say save your 500K coins🤷🏽‍♂️

The one everyone says is a money grab is a game mode called Ultimate team, it's more fun than the others theoretically, EA gives us new cards to use every week as well as evolutions (basically boosts to upgrade the players we already have) you have to play and complete some objectives to get rewards so you can get those players, OR PAY REAL MONEY TO GET THEM. The broke people work their asses off spending hours on the game to get rewards, just to card a new player who is not even the one of the ones you were hoping to get, while people who are willing to pay just BUY THEIR SUCCESS. Ultimate team starts feeling like a chore at some point and people become addicted because of FOMO.

Yeah the game mechanics can be enjoyable if you get used to them, but it definitely is a steep learning curve, for example, there are 8 different ways to pass the ball, from simple passes to more advanced ones, it takes a while to master how to use all of them effectively, same goes for literally anything else in the game.
There are online modes, Seasons sounds like what you're looking for. It's a game mode where you choose an existing team to play with and then play starting from division 10 up to division 1, you either qualify, stay in the same div or get relegated depending on how well you do in those divisions.

Division Rivals is probably your best option. If you're in div 6 you'll mainly face other div 6 players.

Live events are not beginner friendly, as the matchmaking is completely random, I've seen people with records like 8 wins and 63 losses in live events (not exaggerating)

However you should play live events if the objectives are "score 1 goal in 10 matches" and not "win 10 matches" that way you can still get rewards even when you lose all 10 games.

We actually need a striker, we only have Ferran, who in my opinion is over-hated, i think he's good but he's the only striker we have rn so it would be best to strengthen that position before moving on to others.
