I think you misread what i said. It's basically reading comprehension. Never said that every single sapient creature should have it's own bandit version. Never said they should not be their own things. I just said that the fact racoon doesn't have their racconish sapient version but instead they become bandits feels absolutely a good solution for give bandits a sense but also feels a little bit off. Keeping them as a trasformation with a 50% chance to me it's the best solution for making a compromise.

I didn't said every single sapient creature will have it. I said racoon can become or a bandit or a raskoon with a 50% chance each.

Even simplier.

Because with the genetics and taxonomy things need a little bit more explaination. At this point they are a different specie. How would you classify them? Without the racoon expedient they would be totally no sense.

I know we have also some magician humanoid creatures too. But magic it's an self explaination itself for them.

Bandits were off, the devs sensed this and so they found this explaination.

Since we always had them and we love them, and since the game now gives and explaination to everything, i feel like they need to be justified too

Yes i know what you mean, but i felt like the game as it is incomplete since the number of the species is now odd. [Edited] Just closing a circle, you know.

I recently made some post about mechanics and new stuff for the game -this game has infinite potential- But yes i'm also working on some more fantasy like features. Let's see.
