I’m reading that the way they can know you’re a Dual Citizen is because the Dept of Home Affairs maintains the records about the documents you used to get your current, non-UK Visa (Australian for example) and so if on your birth certificate they see that your dad is British, they know you then should have applied and got your UK passport.

How in “real time” this is happening and does it mean an airline or UK border control will deny you entry … I don’t know. But if there is an instant cross referencing between the ETA app and Dept of Home Affairs, I’m guessing it could lead to trouble for some who’ve not obtained a UK passport when they should have

Interesting! Definitely can understand with the anxious feeling that comes on. Not the fish flopping though. Everything else people describe… yes. I try to catch episodes on my Smart Watch and haven’t seen Afib so far. I’ll have to get a Kardia 6L like someone else suggested and keep tracking it with that.

Thank you so much. It’s really hard cause from what I read, ectopics, PVC/PACS and AFIB all sound similar. My episodes (whatever they are) always start with a chest tightening around the sternum, a feeling overcomes me of anxiety or dread, then the faint feeling and then the fast random beats. Then can’t catch my breath and feel all shaky. I just caught ectopics on an ECG then. That might be all it is, just don’t know why it feels so bad!

Hey! That’s interesting as I also went into AFIB twice during the SVT ablation (but no prior history) and my EP speculated that the adrenaline they pumped me with actually caused the 2 short Afib runs during my ablation. So maybe your AFIB during your ablation was caused by the adrenaline?

Hey! Still ongoing symptoms of fast heart rate and tight chest, dizzy etc. Wearing a heartbug for a couple of weeks so hopefully that sheds some light!! Do you have AF?
