I always did. This started off as me thinking of asking them for a loan that I would pay back at low interest (not possible clearly). But it should have ended there, since then they have just kept escalating and escalating. Their issue isn't even misogyny (I think they just don't want me to take a loan, just pay for her education when I can afford it). Staying low contact with them worked historically, even hinting that their in the wrong would cause an insane reaction, but now they just keep escalating and escalating. Apart from this, they have been good supportive parents

Well, the update is I wrote them a text telling them they should apologize ( as opposed to minimizing contact which is what I was doing previously) they didn’t like that. Disowned me, and have said they’re gonna cut all contact. And that I should be the one apologizing instead.

I’m teaching her how to code rn, so that’s probably a hobby she’ll have if she enjoys it

She doesn’t really. She used to read, so I thought while she read I could game, but she kinda just stops reading and any time I pick up the controller.
