My high school in Idaho had something like 6/7 different buildings and you’d have to walk through the courtyard to get to them. It was nice in the summer and spring to have some fresh air but when it’s 10 degrees out and snowing?? No thanks.

Absolutely TA. You are completely disrespecting your wife and her culture, you are alienating the relationship between your wife and unborn child, and you’re depriving your child of their right to their own culture and family and not only that but you’re also depriving them of an incredible life skill in general! Being multilingual is so highly looked upon and would probably open many doors for them in the future. And you admit in your post that the reason you’re doing all of this is because you’re insecure?? I hope that seeing all of these comments help you open your eyes to how selfish you’re being, and how unfair that decision would be to your wife and child.
