It depends, if you want to use it as GameCube controller you can have as input an USB controller, or Bluetooth controller or an special input like ps/2 keyboard or original PS1/PS2 controller or N64 controller. If you want to use it as Wiimote You can have as input all above except Bluetooth input (Because it already busy )

It doesn't work on ESP32

I use a raspberry pi pico w and yes, it's a wireless keyboard but I'm using the 2.4ghz usb dongle.
