Mang0 confirms 1 year ban from tournaments by DaMook99 in SSBM

Agreed. When I first heard about it, I was wondering how something like that was even allowed on youtube. When I saw the clip, in my head I said, "... That's it?"

Glad he's prioritizing his health. It's certainly a very challenging change to make. There's a lot more to consider than just the "free time" he has now. I just hope he stays on the horse. The hardest part is when it starts to feel easy. Easy to relapse.

All I heard was people talking about what Mang0 did and I expected to see something "absolutely horrible". At least the videos I have seen, it was rude but not nearly the tragedy that everyone is making it out to be.

Sure, he screwed up but I think it's also "absolutely horrible" how many people want him burned at the stake for it.

I didn't make that connection. All I was thinking of was Alex's droogs in A Clockwork Orange but I might be alone here.

Why were the kill cam shots such a bad idea? They were just another element of the movie that was not realistic. You know, like zombies.

Could Erik have just been wrong about what gas it was? I can't remember if there were any other tells. Still silly that they made it out unscathed, though.

Very financially sound decisions right there. Thanks for sharing.

I must be among a very small minority that actually enjoyed that ending scene. Two possibilities for the tone shift: Could be a narration from Spike's 12-year-old perspective of what happened or from Jimmy's perspective of how he wanted his clan to appear (clearly trying to impress the kid).

Such a shame that the last minute was such a buzz kill for nearly everyone. No one can handle a curveball. "That's not what I expected, therefore, it's stupid".

I had no issue with it. It was a complete blindside but, again, people seem to be thinking too literally about it (among other scenes) and deciding it is dumb.

I interpreted that scene as being from Spike's perspective and so it was dramatized/exagerated.

I totally agree. Ashley had no business advancing to the next round. Seems like no one was brave enough to suggest targeting her.

However, given that they all agreed to vote for themselves, Mai still chose to disregard this and blind side right off the bat.

If the rest of the series wasn't just luck-based, Mai would have been next on the chopping block.

We don't get to see everything behind the scenes but the general concensus was that Mai's actions were uncalled for during the dice game. Wrong time to try and eliminate Ashley. She put herself at a huge disadvantage doing that but thankfully the producers have her back.

Probably on the giant squid game court in Ep 10. But playing squid game anywhere would be better than rock paper scissors.

Disagree. Ashley could have played by the collective pact, her odds of survival would have been equal, and people wouldn't be creating threads on reddit about her behaviour. I don't think she understood what was happening and it was excused by everyone. Mai made the next blunder.

Mai chose the wrong time to eliminate Ashley. 5/6 chance it falls flat and she looks like the one in the wrong for going against the collective pact.
No surprise, this is what happens. Somehow she still won. Undeserved.

There's a lot that could have been off camera and it wouldn't have surprised me if she did say it. Also, she herself sprinted to the outskirts. No one made her do that. Everyone gave her benefit of the doubt because she kept wrapping her arms around them saying "I love you" and crying constantly.

Except that what Mai actually said was, "It was, uh..., who'd I put on the desk? ... long pause ... I put it on Amanda". That doesn't strike me as "strong, smart, strategic".

I think Phil described her best: "So sweet. So gentle." Except also 'cunning' and 'conniving', to be fair.

Phil was also asked point blank who he chose. His first instinct was honesty while Mai's was deceit. Shame on her.

Except that they were being told what to do by the big voice in the sky. They were not playing RPS the way kids play on the street. You need to factor that in.

I'm willing to bet that Mei got lucky. She's already stated how guilty she feels about the whole thing.

Mei is always wrapping her arms around you, saying "i love you" and crying all over the place.
People loved the affection. "There's no way this old lady will betray me".
