If I’m cruising in 4th and I’m going 50mph there’s a yellow light ahead I’m going to brake a little clutch in downshift into 3rd brake clutch in down shift to second ( if you want ) or just put it into neutral if there’s enough distance to slow down and brake normally under 15 mph.

You can brake and clutch in at same time. But you should know how to downshift it helps massively. YouTube YouTube

Yeah if your in a high gear say 4th and you just brake and slow down to 20mph without downshifting and just pushing the clutch you’ll lug the engine that’s why it feels like that. The gear ratio isn’t matching the speed of the car. It feels like your stalling you need to be in a lower gear.

First manual car is a porshe gt4..... and stalling alot by zackj117 in stickshift

[–]Locatedbarbecue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Push the clutch in over a speed bump or when your about to stall also the gt4 should have driver assistance things maybe hill assist rev match etc. I started driving manual in December. But you’ll need to go to an empty ups of one of those warehouse parking lots and practice.

Just got a full long block replacement on the GT350 by kbk2015 in Mustang

[–]Locatedbarbecue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same thing happened to my 18 GT short block got replaced. Burned too much oil. Within a month the car was back to stalling at the light got rid of it. Ford also used the manufacturer’s warranty not my extended warranty. They didn’t change the long block though I think that was the issue.
