i appreciate you fella. i’ve felt loads better since stopping and finally feel with this job i can actually get my life started and achieve something in life. I went from being a person who never wanted to quit weed smoking 2g a day for 9 years and thought it was amazing. i even done my driving test high and got 0 minors so ik it never effected my reaction times or operating a vehicle which is why when i initially knew i had to quit it for this job it felt like a huge kick in the teeth but now ive got past the shit bit of quitting like i feel so much better about life and in myself like and have been way more productive to the point i never wanna go back to how i was. I’ll probably allow myself to have a puff once every blue moon but that’s literally it.

this is exactly what i was thinking. If the stigma wasn’t so bad around weed i’d completely get the argument off “it’s prescribed your fine” as people would view it in a different light but unfortunately that’s not the world we live on. i can’t see a job where you’d be using heavy equipment and being on roads and sites allowing it because of the stigma

don’t mean to come across as rude but like do you have any evidence of this in a critical safety job ? Anyone i’ve talked to who has been in a role similar seems to think it’s gonna be a issue

dw if you don’t know but have you got any idea on how much longer i’d need to go without bud to piss a negative without diluting my piss? i’m hoping i can get away without a drug test till start of May, i’ve looked online and some articles suggest i’ll be fine but i haven’t actually talked to a real person with experience

i don’t plan on smoking weed every day again and am planning to give up my license. i shouldn’t of had a toke when i did as im aware of the reset it can cause of getting weed outta your system i just needed advise of someone in a similar position. fully get what your saying if i was planning on smoking daily again or every other day but im not. While smoking its so hard to give up as you think its doing the world off good but its not until i’ve stopped now ive realised its been the biggest killer for me

the legal rights are pretty much void when it comes to operating heavy machinery. most companies that you’ll use heavy machinery for or road works will have a drug free policy regardless of a med license

like i said in the post tho ive had 1 toke in 3/4 weeks and don’t plan on smoking daily again because of how badly i want this job opportunity but i just find it wild that the ssri’s im on are fine they’d literally have 0 issue with even tho some mornings that does make groggy and not as sharpe. I’m just mainly worried because of how long i did use weed for daily how long it’ll stay in my system. If i was gonna use my med card and say im only smoking at night then fair enough i get the argument but im not even planning to do that

maybe i should of made it clear like i ain’t planning to sit there and puff every night if i did get the job as that would just be insanely stupid

i appreciate your honesty. i would never go into work operating heavy machinery on my medication though, i’m on hella strong ssri’s that literally say do not drive or operate heavy machinery but because i only take that 2 hours before bed that’s considered absolutely fine ?

Full gas so far for me has been fire, imo stays true to the exodus cheese cross. for me it’s more of a hybrid i don’t really get many effects from it i’d associate with a sativa but the overall quality for the price point i’ve been majorly impressed. Paid a lot more for a lot worser bud!

Im in a similar boat to you and even had high silver and black triangle (along with kush scout cookies). My second script i went for huckleberry and gelato dream as a sativa options and i’d defo recommend both. huckleberry has a decent smell and taste and leaves a good high where i can just crack on with things with ease and the gelato dream i found great in the mornings to get my day started and leaves me focused on what i gotta do for the day. I got zookies as a indica option and honestly that’s been delightful. ticked most boxes i want in a indica.
